#InCaseYouMissedIt: Rattlers stay undefeated at home, Dias and Man Hater make history

Miss a moment of the action this weekend? Here’s what happened around the PBR.

By Darci Miller

We knew the Texas Rattlers would put on a show for the Rattler Days crowd, and boy, did they ever. Plus, Cassio Dias and Man Hater renewed their rivalry for a historic score, the playoff picture got a little clearer, and more. Miss a moment of the action this weekend? Here’s what happened around the PBR.

On the PBR Team Series…

FORT WORTH, DAY 1

The Rattlers started the weekend strong with a resounding defeat of the Oklahoma Wildcatters, while the New York Mavericks stunned the Kansas City Outlaws, the Arizona Ridge Riders upset the Florida Freedom, and the Austin Gamblers edged the Nashville Stampede.

FORT WORTH, DAY 2

On Friday night, the Rattlers beat the Gamblers in the final edition of the Texas Cup in 2024. Meanwhile, the Carolina Cowboys beat the Ridge Riders, the Outlaws crushed the Stampede, and the Missouri Thunder took down the Mavericks.

The Outlaws’ Cassio Dias had a huge night on a personal level, as the 2024 World Champion rode 2024 YETI World Champion Bull Man Hater for a stunning 98.25 points – the second-highest score in PBR history.

FORT WORTH, DAY 3

The Rattlers completed the sweep on Saturday with their defeat of the Stampede, improving to 9-0 all-time at home and clinching a spot at the 2024 PBR Camping World Teams Championship. Elsewhere, the Freedom edged the Thunder to also clinch their playoff spot, the Gamblers rolled over the Cowboys, and the Wildcatters upset the Outlaws.

Up north in PBR Canada…

Cody Coverchuk went a perfect 3-for-3 to win the PBR Canada Cup Series event in Grande Prairie and move to No. 1 in the national standings.
