#InCaseYouMissedIt: Aparecido joins 400 club, Thunder walk it off at Thunder Days

Miss a moment of the action this weekend? Here’s what happened around the PBR.

By Darci Miller

It may have been Thunder Days in Springfield, Missouri, this past weekend, but nobody had a better time than Eduardo Aparecido at the Arizona Ridge Riders. Plus, the Missouri Thunder ended the weekend with an upset, the Kansas City Outlaws inch closer to the top of the standings, and more. Miss a moment of the action this weekend? Here’s what happened around the PBR.

On the PBR Team Series…

SPRINGFIELD, DAY 1

On Friday night in Missouri, the Show-Me State showdown ended with the Outlaws defeating the Thunder for their sixth consecutive win. Elsewhere, the Oklahoma Wildcatters beat the Nashville Stampede, the Texas Rattlers edged the Florida Freedom, and the Austin Gamblers beat the Ridge Riders…

…but things were still jovial in the Arizona locker room as Eduardo Aparecido became the ninth rider to record 400 rides on the premier series.

SPRINGFIELD, DAY 2

Saturday night in Missouri saw the Outlaws’ six-game winning streak ended by the Freedom, while the Ridge Riders rebounded to defeat the Rattlers. The Cowboys also beat the Wildcatters, while the New York Mavericks defeated the Thunder to close the night.

SPRINGFIELD, DAY 3

The Thunder closed their homestand with a huge win on Sunday, toppling the No. 1 Cowboys. Meanwhile, the Ridge Riders dispatched the Mavericks to finish the weekend 2-1, the Outlaws bounced back to defeat the Stampede, and the Freedom outdueled the Gamblers.
