#InCaseYouMissedIt: Cowboys continue dominant season at Gambler Days

Miss a moment of the action this weekend? Here’s what happened around the PBR.

By Darci Miller

They say you’ve got to know when to hold ‘em and know when to fold ‘em, and at Gambler Days this past weekend, the Carolina Cowboys showed that they’re still the winning hand. Plus, the Texas Rattlers got back at the Austin Gamblers, upsets were aplenty, and more. Miss a moment of the action this weekend? Here’s what happened around the PBR.

On the PBR Team Series…

AUSTIN, DAY 1

On the first night of competition in Austin, the New York Mavericks upset the Gamblers on their home turf. Additionally, the Florida Freedom beat the Nashville Stampede, the Oklahoma Wildcatters edged the Arizona Ridge Riders, and the Kansas City Outlaws walked it off against the Rattlers.

AUSTIN, DAY 2

Saturday night in Austin was full of upsets – first, the Outlaws ended the Cowboys’ unbeaten streak with a dominant victory. Then the Mavericks beat the Wildcatters, the Thunder edged the Stampede in a walk-off, and the Rattlers downed the Gamblers to even the Texas Cup at one victory apiece.

AUSTIN, DAY 3

The Cowboys stormed back with a vengeance on Sunday, going 5-for-5 against the Mavericks for their second perfect game of the season. Meanwhile, the Rattlers walked it off against the Wildcatters, the Freedom overwhelmed the Ridge Riders, and the Gamblers beat the Thunder to end their homestand with a win.

Meanwhile, on the Challenger Series…

Wyatt Rogers led after the first night of competition at the PBR Rochester

but Jake Morinec took the event win thanks to a Round 3 victory.
