Next, the New York Mavericks (6-7) continued to roll, downing the Oklahoma Wildcatters (5-7-1), 174-85.75. Leonardo Castro tallied 86 points on Don’t Come Easy during New York’s first out and the team never looked back, adding a game-high 88-point ride from Mauricio Gulla Moreira on Body Roc to keep the Wildcatters at arm’s length.
In the closest game of the evening, the Missouri Thunder (6-7) ousted the Nashville Stampede (7-7), 174.75-173.5, in dramatic fashion. Andrew Alvidrez extended his ride streak to four on Whiplash for 88.25 points, but Nashville held the lead after the first two frames thanks to Cody Jesus and Alan de Souza both making the 8. However, Missouri closer Paulo Eduardo Rossetto would not be denied in the game’s final out, walking off the Stampede with an 86.5-point outing on Sweet John.
The second night of PBR Teams action in Austin concluded with the Shootout Round, where the Outlaws’ Cassio Dias was the only one of the four riders to make the 8, hanging on to Do Dat Eddie for a modest 77 points.
