Thiago Salgado has been on the PBR scene for a few years now, but it looks like he’s finally starting to come into his own. Plus, John Crimber and Dalton Kasel duked it out, Keyshawn Whitehorse kept his momentum going, and more. Miss a moment of the action this weekend? Here’s what happened around the PBR.
On the Unleash The Beast…
Thiago Salgado was an early-season victim of the cutline and spent a few months on the Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour. But he worked his way back up to the big show and, at the PBR Nampa, presented by Cooper Tires, went 4-for-4 to improve to No. 14 in the UTB standings – and clinch a spot at the PBR World Finals.
In Round 1 in Nampa, Keyshawn Whitehorse and Dalton Kasel split the round win. Whitehorse remains one of the hottest riders on tour, while Kasel’s finish was good to bump him from No. 3 to No. 2 in the UTB standings.
That is, of course, until new No. 3 John Crimber won Round 2 to surpass Kasel and retake the No. 2 spot. This world title race is getting spicy!
