Eduardo Aparecido has been sneaky good all season, but in Albuquerque, he stopped being sneaky and was just plain good. Plus, there were a few other big winners in Albuquerque, Cassio Dias was victorious in the Stockyards, and more. Miss a moment of the action this weekend? Here’s what happened around the PBR.
On the Unleash The Beast…
The PBR Albuquerque Ty Murray Invitational was the final PBR Major of the season, and Eduardo Aparecido showed up in a major way. He was the only rider to go 4-for-4, giving him the event win and propelling him up the Unleash The Beast World Championship standings to No. 4 with just six events remaining before the PBR World Finals.
Aparecido wasn’t the only rider to come to Albuquerque on a mission. Cassio Dias and Keyshawn Whitehorse were among the others who impressed.
There was also, of course, Round 2 winner Thiago Salgado…
…and veterans like Jose Vitor Leme and Kaique Pacheco, who proved you can never count them out.
Meanwhile, on the Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour…
Tyler Manor won Round 1 in Dayton, Ohio…
…but Daniel Keeping went 2-for-3 to take the event title.
In the Touring Pro Division…
There are no days off for No. 1 Cassio Dias, who stopped in Fort Worth before heading to Albuquerque and won the PBR Stockyards Showcase.
