So, Cassio Dias. You’re seeing this, right? If not, you’d better clean off those glasses and start paying attention, because we may have history on our hands. Miss a moment of the action this weekend? Here’s what happened around the PBR.
On the Unleash The Beast…
After a breakout PBR Teams season, Cassio Dias seems unstoppable. The rookie went 3-for-3 to win the Tractor Supply Co. PBR Chicago this past weekend – it’s his third event win in just nine attempts – and retake the No. 1 spot in the Unleash The Beast World Championship standings. Color us thoroughly impressed.
There were 22 qualified rides in Round 1 in Chicago – yes, you read that correctly – but none better than Daylon Swearingen’s.
There was a whole lot going on in that Round 1, including a big ride for Cort McFadden, strong showings for Boudreaux Campbell and Keyshawn Whitehorse, and some travel delays that kept things plenty interesting.
Meanwhile, on the Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour…
Veteran Marco Eguchi got things rolling in Charleston, West Virginia, with the Round 1 win…
…but newcomer Marco Rizzo ultimately came out on top with his first PBR event win.
