#InCaseYouMissedIt: Cassio Dias earns first career event win, climbs to world No. 1

Miss a moment of the action this weekend? Here’s what happened around the PBR.

By Darci Miller

The Unleash The Beast is back, baby, and this time, it’s for real. This past weekend in St. Louis, Cassio Dias proved he’s far from a one-hit wonder, while Bob Mitchell made some noise in his home state, and Eduardo Aparecido hit one out of the park. Miss a moment of the action this weekend? Here’s what happened around the PBR.

On the Unleash The Beast…

During the PBR Teams season, Cassio Dias was a superstar for the Kansas City Outlaws. In his first UTB season, he’s 6-for-6, winning the first premier series event of his career in St. Louis.

Thanks to his incredible showing so far, Dias is now your No. 1-ranked bull rider and says his debut has been a dream come true.

Also showing up big for the Kansas City Outlaws was Bob Mitchell, a Missouri native who dazzled his home-state crowd in Round 1.

Eduardo Aparecido won Round 1, making a splash with his first out of the 2024 season.

In the Touring Pro Division…

Dawson Branton went a perfect 2-for-2 to win the Stockyards Showcase in Fort Worth.
