Death, taxes, and Cooper Davis being awesome – there are a few things in life that you can just count on, you know? It was a big weekend in St. Louis for a couple of PBR World Champions, plus the Ultimate Bullfighters World Finals got underway. Miss a moment of the action this weekend? Here’s what happened around the PBR.
On the Unleash The Beast…
After suffering some serious injuries during the 2022 Unleash The Beast season, 2016 World Champion Cooper Davis seriously contemplated retirement. But he returned and was invigorated by the PBR Team Series, and this weekend won the event in St. Louis for his first event win in a year and a half. You love to see it!
You know what else we love to see? Silvano Alves thriving. The three-time World Champion won Round 1 in St. Louis with his first 90-point ride on the premier series in more than a year, and in Round 2 became just the fourth rider to notch 1,000 career outs on the premier series.
At the UBF World Finals…
Action for the Ultimate Bullfighters World Finals got underway on Dec. 1 with Pool A, as Jacorey Golden, Sam Marical, Roper Rich, Zek Smith, Justin Martin and Knox Dunn advanced.
Pool B saw action on Friday, with Dylan Idleman, Tucker Lane, Colby Lindsey, Noah Krepps, Chance Moorman and Dekevis Jordan emerging victorious and moving on.
