Last fall, Fielder went 13-for-29 for the Texas Rattlers as a linchpin of the 2023 PBR Camping World Team Series Championship squad on its push for the title.
When the 2024 Unleash The Beast season rolled around, he notched the first win of his career in Manchester, New Hampshire in December. He then finished third at the 2024 PBR World Finals: Unleash The Beast, clocking in at No. 8 in the UTB standings at season’s end.
Then, it was time to return to the Rattlers.
And whatever was working for Fielder during the individual season has only kicked it up a notch during PBR Teams.
Fielder is 19-for-26 this season for a riding percentage of a stunning 73.08%.
Since beginning the season 2-for-6, Fielder has gone 17-for-20 through August and September. He’s only bucked off twice in a row two times this season, way back in July/early August. He’s ridden for 90 points twice and has been in the mix of the regular-season MVP race all season – he’s currently No. 2, 242.5 points (three rides) behind No. 1 John Crimber of the Florida Freedom.
But where Fielder is currently untouchable is the race for the Great 8 award, which will be given out at the end of the regular season to the rider with the highest riding percentage with at least 20 outs. The winner also receives a $25,000 bonus.

“Brady Fielder is really good,” Rattlers head coach Cody Lambert said. “About as good as they get.”
In terms of efficiency, Fielder has been the class of the field.
“To me, it’s just the more bulls that I get to get on, I feel that it’s better for me to get that momentum going and to get my bulls rode,” Fielder told PBR.com’s James Youness in March. “That’s the name of the game. And it all starts with one.”
Fielder is fresh off a 4-for-4 weekend at Cowboy Days in Greensboro, North Carolina. He kicked the weekend off with an 86.25-point ride on Hood Rat as the Rattlers took on the Missouri Thunder, improving to 13 of his last 15, before talking to sideline reporter Matt West on the back of the chute.
“It felt really good, actually,” Fielder said. “Just thankful to get him rode.”
Never the most loquacious rider of the bunch, Fielder prefers to let his riding do the talking for him. He went on to ride Mike’s Motive for 88.75 points in the shootout round later that night and, the following day, rode Silvertown for 86.25 points as the Rattlers faced the Arizona Ridge Riders and Heavy Hitter for another 82.75 points in the shootout round.
“What limits does Brady have?” pondered stock contractor and Merit Street color commentator Cord McCoy. “He’s rode everything. You put him with the eliminators, the dirty job, the lefts, the rights – this guy is riding them all. There’s not a bull on the whole roster that can buck him off. So how do you use this guy? You can’t let him get on all five bulls, but you can let him get on two.”
Fielder has a potential six bulls ahead of him this weekend as the Rattlers prepare to host Rattler Days at Cowtown Coliseum and Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas. Fielder leads off game one for Texas against the Wildcatters as he takes on Desert Twister (9 p.m. ET on Merit Street).
