BROOKLYN, N.Y. – The PBR Camping World Team Series rolls on into Nashville, Tennessee, this weekend for the third PBR Teams: Stampede Days as the 5-on-5 drama surges on.
Bridgestone Arena and the No. 4-ranked Nashville Stampede will welcome the league’s nine other squads as the home team looks to take advantage of hometown dirt once again.
And with each of the (4-4-1) Oklahoma Wildcatters, (4-5) Florida Freedom and (4-5) New York Mavericks picking up two wins during their respective homestands, they know they need to get the job done. Beginning Friday night with a heated battle against the (7-0-1) Carolina Cowboys.

Ranked No. 2 in the league standings, the (5-3) Austin Gamblers are looking to extend their four-game win streak during a head-to-head showdown with John Crimber and the Florida Freedom as the league’s Top 2-ranked MVP contenders in Crimber and Jose Vitor Leme continue their campaigns.
Wherever you look across the action-packed slate, there’s a dramatic matchup looming. And while the 2024 PBR Teams Championship is still two months away, squads understand how important each and every game means.

With the 5-on-5 circuit returning to Smashville for the third-straight summer, we’re breaking down starting lineups for Friday night’s competition inside Bridgestone Arena (With coverage set to begin at 9 p.m. EST via Merit Street).
PBR TEAMS: STAMPEDE DAYS STARTING LINEUPS *Denotes a rematch (4-5) Florida Freedom vs. (5-3) Austin Gamblers Caden Bunch vs. Hood Rat Dalton Kasel vs. Sometimes I Fly *Conner Halverson vs. Kodiac Kaique Pacheco vs. War Daddy Elizmar Jeremias vs. Casper Lucas Divino vs. Stone Cold Gangster Joao Lucas Campos vs. Red Mosquito *Ramon de Lima vs. Rafter P Construction’s The Show John Crimber vs. Rip Tide Jose Vitor Leme vs. Bayou Bad Boy REMATCHES Conner Halverson vs. Kodiac (7.86 seconds in New York, New York; 88.75 points in Johnstown, Pennsylvania) Ramon de Lima vs. Rafter P Construction’s The Show (7.94 seconds in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; 89 points in Ridgedale, Missouri) Freedom vs. Gamblers Game Preview With the Austin Gamblers’ Jose Vitor Leme the closest man to current MVP frontrunner John Crimber, the final two outs of Friday night’s opener couldn’t get any spicier as the league’s hottest cowboys look to produce in their closing roles once again.
The Gamblers are bringing a four-game win streak into the contest as one of the league’s hottest units already. And with Dalton Kasel returning to the lineup after missing some time, they have to be feeling good about their opening night odds. Especially after seeing Leme look like his elite self again last weekend in Brooklyn.
For the Freedom, they have the talent to compete with the Gamblers. They just need to showcase said skillsets more regularly, as Crimber has been the team’s only consistent rider so far. Leading Leme by just one ride score heading into the three-day showcase, Crimber will likely deliver for the Florida after suffering just his second buckoff in 11 attempts last weekend. Caden Bunch is due to step up with a big ride after suffering a bit of a down stretch here, just 2-for-9 on the season, and could find the 8 Friday aboard Hood Rat.
We’ve also got an interesting set of “third time’s the charm” rematches for Conner Halverson and Ramon de Lima, as both cowboys recorded 7.8 plus-second attempts aboard their bovine opponents during their first rematches after originally besting the bulls for 88.75 and 89 points, respectively.) Will either of the cowboys get revenge Friday night?
(3-6) Missouri Thunder vs. (4-5) Arizona Ridge Riders Briggs Madsen vs. Sin City Chase Dougherty vs. Hawk Dawson Gleaves vs. Jersey Mike Eduardo Aparecido vs. War Wagon Casey Roberts vs. Late Hit Luciano De Castro vs. Ridgeway Grayson Cole vs. Washita Red Keyshawn Whitehorse vs. Chuck Paulo Eduardo Rossetto vs. Bomb Diggity Bruno Carvalho vs. Salty Brindle TRANSACTIONS The Arizona Ridge Riders reinstated Nick Tetz from the Excused Absence List and placed him on the Protected Roster.
Thunder vs. Ridge Riders Game Preview It’s been pretty quiet for both of these teams lately. The Arizona Ridge Riders began the season with some steam, establishing themselves as a high-scoring contender. But after cooling off the last few weeks, they bring a mid-pack record into Week 5. It’s a bit better than the Missouri Thunder’s 3-6 slate however, as the Bass Pro Sports contingent can’t seem to get over the hump just yet.
After opting out of his time with the Freedom, Casey Roberts signed with Missouri and will get a shot to impress right off the bat, as he’s set to ride in the No. 3 spot for the Thunder. Matched up against Late Hit, will he find some success with his new squad? Paulo Eduardo Rossetto has been the team’s most consistent threat and will need to find the 8 once again if they hope to get past Arizona.
Nick Tetz was originally slated to dance with Hawk Friday night, but was eventually subbed out, with Chase Dougherty getting the nod now instead. Fans can keep an eye out for Tetz as the weekend progresses, as he'll likely still be atop the chutes cheering his guys on, as always. Which should get the team’s veteran regulars in Luciano De Castro, Keyshawn Whitehorse, Eduardo Aparecido and Bruno Carvalho fired up and ready to work too.
(5-4) Kansas City Outlaws vs. (4-4-1) Oklahoma Wildcatters Julio Cesar Marques vs. Great Balls of Fire Hayden Harris vs. Hog Wild Brennon Eldred vs. Magic Hunter Eduardo Matos vs. Mr. Nasty Sandro Batista vs. Highwire Clay Guiton vs. Magic Fire Koltin Hevalow vs. Ridin’ Salty Kase Hitt vs. Workin’ Man Cassio Dias vs. Boomerang Cort McFadden vs. The Undertaker TRANSACTIONS The Kansas City Outlaws reinstated Maikon Calixto Rocha from the Excused Absence List and placed him on the Reserve Roster.
Outlaws vs. Wildcatters Game Preview This isn’t a formal rivalry just yet, but it feels like it sure could become one here sooner than later as both of the units should be contending amongst the league’s favorites for years to come. J.W. Hart vs. J.B. Mauney. Kansas City Outlaws vs. Oklahoma Wildcatters. It just feels like both teams know they’re extremely talented yet just one game from appearing mediocre via their records. And while the rosters for the teams have been pretty regular as of late, our attention is piqued anytime we see the name Cassio Dias.
The 2024 World Champion hasn’t quite been himself lately, uncharacteristically rocking a six-out buckoff streak. But odds say that streak comes to an end Friday during the cowboy’s game-closing dance with Boomerang. It’s been a team effort for the Outlaws lately, but Sandro Batista sure hasn’t been afraid of the limelight, as he currently paces the squad. Freshly activated from the team’s Excused Absence List, rookie Maikon Calixto Rocha was originally in the starting lineup, but was subbed out for Koltin Hevalow Friday morning, who will now prepare for a matchup against Ridin’ Salty.
The Wildcatters were originally sticking with the same five as last weekend, just switching up the order a bit, as rookie Cort McFadden appears set to close for Oklahoma. But with Josh Frost subbed out for Kase Hitt Friday morning, the veteran is getting a night off. Each of McFadden, Eduardo Matos, Clay Guiton and Frost have taken turns playing hero for the expansion squad. Gravitating toward the top half of the standings all season despite being a brand-new franchise, they’ve managed a 4-4-1 record, which says a lot. Especially when the tie was earned against the league-leading Carolina Cowboys!
(7-0-1) Carolina Cowboys vs. (5-4) Nashville Stampede Cooper Davis vs. Mahan *Cody Jesus vs. Rockville *Derek Kolbaba vs. Mr. Koolie Alan de Souza vs. Smooth Time Adriano Salgado vs. Rowdy Ednelio Almeida vs. Fire Zone *Daylon Swearingen vs. Whiskey Trip Jess Lockwood vs. Wasted Nights Sage Steele Kimzey vs. Exodus Silvano Alves vs. Blue Suede Shoes REMATCHES Cody Jesus vs. Rockville (1.90 seconds in Everett, Washington; 4.15 seconds in Las Vegas, Nevada; 7.06 seconds in Tacoma, Washington) Daylon Swearingen vs. Whiskey Trip (5.82 seconds in Albany, New York) Derek Kolbaba vs. Mr. Koolie (2.68 seconds in New York, New York) Cowboys vs. Stampede Game Preview The one where two Top 4-ranked teams save the best for last! The hometown Stampede couldn’t have scheduled a tougher opening night opponent, as the Carolina Cowboys are the circuit’s undisputed top dogs. But Justin McBride and his veteran-heavy squad have never been known for backing down from a good challenge. Coming off another 2-0 weekend themselves, the yellow and blue contingent will be ready to put on a show. Veterans like Alan de Souza, Ednelio Almeida, Cody Teel, Silvano Alves and company have been holding things down as the team’s youthful all-star Kaiden Loud continues to heal up. With newcomer Cody Jesus searching for his first conversion since being acquired by Nashville last week, can the fellow veteran help get his new squad out on the right foot via his frame one showdown against Rockville? The two have danced three times before, with the bovine exiting vicariously each time. Look for that to change Friday. Knowing Jess Lockwood was added to the lineup, the hometown contingent could be getting just the boost they need, with Lockwood set to dance with Wasted Nights. For the undefeated Cowboys, who bring a saucy 7-0-1 record into the game, they’re just looking to stay the course, as their starting five of Cooper Davis, Derek Kolbaba, Adriano Salgado, Daylon Swearingen and Sage Steele Kimzey have been the league’s best bunch so far. Davis truly looks like his 2016 World Championship form. Kimzey has been one of the most clutch closers on tour. The middle of the lineup? The most solid around town. So, it’s easy to see why this one will be a must-watch as night one comes to a close!
