We’re baaaaaack! Did you miss the PBR Camping World Team Series? We sure did. Clearly, so did the riders, because we were treated to some fireworks in the arena this past weekend at Wildcatters Days in Oklahoma City. The hometown team proved they’re legit, the Cowboys were perfect, and some heavy hitters got the MVP race started off on the right foot. Miss a moment of the action this weekend? Here’s what happened around the PBR.
On the PBR Team Series…
OKLAHOMA CITY, DAY 1
The Oklahoma Wildcatters thrilled the crowd on day one of Wildcatters Days, winning the first game of their debut season in a dominating performance. Elsewhere, the Kansas City Outlaws outdueled the Texas Rattlers, the Arizona Ridge Riders erupted against the Nashville Stampede, and the Missouri Thunder struck against the New York Mavericks.
Last year’s No. 1 and No. 2 teams in the regular season – the Gamblers and the Outlaws – faced off in the first game of the year, and Jose Vitor Leme and Cassio Dias wasted no time returning to their MVP-race rivalry.
OKLAHOMA CITY, DAY 2
On night two in Oklahoma City, the Carolina Cowboys and Florida Freedom began their seasons with a bang, combining to go 9-for-10 with the Cowboys emerging victorious with a perfect game. Meanwhile, the Rattlers rebounded against the Thunder, the Stampede defeated the Mavericks, and the Ridge Riders squeaked past the Wildcatters.
OKLAHOMA CITY, DAY 3
The Wildcatters were back in the win column on the final day of their homestand, defeating the Gamblers to improve to 2-1 in their debut season. Additionally, the Outlaws defeated their in-state rival Thunder, the Freedom beat the Stampede, and the Cowboys kept rolling against the Mavericks.
