PUEBLO, Colo. – Season three. 140 total games over the course of 12 events.
Ten of which represent respective squad homestands, with two of said gatherings serving as first-time showdowns for new fans in Oklahoma and New York (as the Oklahoma Wildcatters and New York Mavericks are set to get in on the fun, thus expanding and evolving the PBR Camping World Team Series schedule as we know it!)
Also adding to the fun (for the sake of rider health and availability, at least), the tour is officially introducing “Bye Games”, meaning teams will be given the opportunity to rest up a few more times than in season’s past, while still allowing eight teams to compete in each of the summer’s regular season games.
Which, if all plays out in good favor, means the 2024 PBR Teams Championship inside T-Mobile Arena will be even more electric than last season. Which would be QUITE the feat if so, as the second postseason of epic “Ride or go home” action continues to rank amongst PBR’s most entertaining events to date.
Making this fall’s weekend of playoff action even spicier, the bottom four-ranked teams at the end of the regular season will be forced to compete at the “Ride-in-Round” inside South Point Hotel, Casino & Spa Oct. 17, which will decide the final two teams who receive the opportunity to compete inside T-Mobile Arena Oct. 18-20 during the 2024 PBR Teams Championship.
While we can only hope some additional rivalries are forged and squads come out of left field in making this season’s standings as spicy as ever, we’ve identified seven regular season matchups that will have fans on the edge of their seats!

Or, at the very least, will have riders understanding there’s more than just a game win on the line.
Some of these are the fiercest of rematches.
Which lead to bragging rights. And the win THIS season.
Dare we say: REVENGE will be an element for some of last year’s gold buckle-hoisting hopefuls?

July 12 – Oklahoma Wildcatters vs. Texas Rattlers: It really didn’t matter who the Oklahoma Wildcatters drew in their first weekend of action. It’s about how they come out during their franchise’s first-ever event. Which … just happens to be in the comfort of their hometown market, as Wildcatter Days is set to kick off the entire 2024 slate in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, July 12-14! While the defending PBR Teams Champion Texas Rattlers will undoubtedly test the fresh group of freshly-forged riders, the Wildcatters will also have to endure matchups against the Arizona Ridge Riders and Austin Gamblers throughout its opening weekend, each of which find themselves ranked within the Top 4 within the preseason power rankings. But with The Dragon Slayer himself, J.B. Mauney, set to officially begin his career in the role of coach and mentor atop the chutes, we know the crowd will be excited to see them get the first weekend out of the way!
July 14 – Missouri Thunder vs. Kansas City Outlaws: Sure, the Texas Rattlers and Austin Gamblers are fellow in-state rivals, themselves. But we have a feeling it’s last year’s 2023 Championship-deciding showdown that may be top of mind for the southern-based units. But after seeing the No. 2 seed Kansas City Outlaws enjoy their Friday night off, as one of two teams (alongside the Gamblers) to earn first-round byes, the J.W. Hart-coached squad found themselves in Saturday evening’s Last Chance Game after dropping its Round 2 showdown to the Arizona Ridge Riders. Naturally, who else would end up sending them to the train station other than their rivals to the south in the Missouri Thunder? Arguably the hottest team throughout the entire 2023 PBR Teams Championship gauntlet, the red and yellow contingent leaned on some of its youngsters in Felipe Furlan, Kade Madsen and friends to power them into Championship Sunday. Which, unfortunately for 2023 PBR Teams MVP runner-up Cassio Dias, meant the Outlaws were sent home early. Look for this Week 1 showdown to re-surface some emotions from both sides in Oklahoma City as the Missouri state-based squads renew their rivalry during the opening weekend of action!
July 28 – Oklahoma Wildcatters vs. New York Mavericks: In the “Battle of the New Kids on the Block,” the Oklahoma Wildcatters and New York Mavericks will officially begin their rivalry as year three expansion team newcomers via the Week 2 matchup during the first neutral site event of the season. After seeing Mauney and friends exit both the 2024 PBR Teams Expansion Draft and 2024 PBR Teams New Rider Draft with quite the respectful and “ready-to-ride” roster, it’s no surprise the Wildcatters came in as high as No. 6 in the preseason rankings. Plenty to live up to in year one, no doubt. However, for Mavericks’ Head Coach Kody Lostroh and company, who enter their first summer sessions with a bit more of a unique, prospective spread of talent, they’ll look to stay out of the Wildcatters shadow in year one, beginning with their early-season meeting in Duluth, Georgia.
August 3 – Texas Rattlers vs. Austin Gamblers: Very much in-state rivals themselves, as the Rattlers and Gamblers continue to exchange stellar performances during their two years of battles, this year’s Freedom Days crowd will witness the first official rematch from last season’s 2023 PBR Teams Championship Game. Seeing Jose Vitor Leme and friends come up just short inside T-Mobile Arena last fall, they watched on as the Cody Lambert-led contingent collected the gold buckle and accompanying big checks as the confetti rained yellow and brown. Announcing himself as a serious competitor during the league’s inaugural season of camaraderie-based riding, Daniel Keeping didn’t have the flashiest of campaigns last summer by any means. But the Montague, Texas, native couldn’t have come in more clutch than during last year’s 90.5-point conversion atop Red River.
Sealing the deal for his squad while forcing cowboy hats to fly and confetti to fall, the mustached man led his home-state team to the winner’s circle as the Texas Rattlers were officially crowned the 2023 PBR Teams Champions last fall! And if you think Austin has replayed that game a few times over the offseason, you’re not wrong. This one will be spicy!
August 4 – Austin Gamblers vs. Nashville Stampede: The Week 3 meet-up will mark the first time 2018 World Champion Kaique Pacheco faces off against his former team, the Nashville Stampede. Noted as the league’s preseason favorites for each of the first two seasons, nothing has changed ahead of year three, as the team’s top-tier trio should very much get the green light in having the best odds of finding themselves competing on Championship Sunday inside T-Mobile Arena once again.

And anytime you get to go head-to-head with two-time PBR Teams MVP and his back-to-back regular season champion Gamblers squad, it’s going to be a good “measuring stick” opportunity for Head Coach Justin McBride and friends. Reloaded in 2024 with the likes of Chase Outlaw and Cody Teel, not to mention a surging Kaiden Loud, Alan de Souza and plenty of World Championship contributors in Jess Lockwood and Silvano Alves, this isn’t your grandfather’s Nashville Stampede unit. Which, after finding themselves towards the bottom of the regular season standings in both year one and two, could be a good thing!
August 9 – New York Mavericks vs. Kansas City Outlaws: Allow them to introduce themselves … While the Week 4 showdown in the Northeast won’t be packed with the same excitement of Wildcatters Days, as Oklahoma gets to put on a show for their hometown crowd right off the bat, the youthful New York Mavericks may welcome the later of two hometown debuts, as there’s likely a bit less pressure on them being their fans have already seen what they’ve got. That said, the Aug. 9-10 home opener inside Barclays Center will very much still mean a lot to the squad and event attendees as they get their first opportunity to see the fresh unit on-hand, up close and personally! Drawing a showdown against the Kansas City Outlaws during Friday night’s showcase, they’ll need Vitor Losnake, Braidy Randolph and company to bring their A-game if they want to impress their new fans!
August 17 – Nashville Stampede vs. Arizona Ridge Riders: We have to think back a bit farther in order to recall the details of the opening season’s endgame celebrations, but the Arizona Ridge Riders won’t have to think too hard, as they very well remember it was the Nashville Stampede who kept them from being named the 2022 PBR Teams Champions. With the year one Championship Game rematch initially set to take center stage in Oklahoma City during the very first night of games, they’ll meet again just a few weeks later, this time inside Bridgestone Arena during the ever-fiery Stampede Days, Aug. 17. The pair of deep, veteran-heavy contenders will have their respective chances to continue their third season with productive efforts, as neither squad has been afraid to make some moves over the offseason in bettering their odds to win it all in 2024.
With the Ridge Riders remaining the only team to exit both postseason sessions within the tournament’s respective Top 3 finishers, they find themselves ranked a bit higher than most during this year’s preseason rankings, coming in at No. 4, just behind the defending Champs in Texas. However, for the Stampede, their veterans will need to prove they still have what it takes to compete at a high level without the elite skills of one Kaique Pacheco, who’s now riding with Austin in year three!
