Behind the Lens: 2023 PBR World Finals Round 4

As two of only three cowboys to log qualified rides when the 2023 PBR World Finals: Unleash The Beast action resumed inside Dickies Arena Thursday evening, rookie riders Joao Lucas Campos and Wingson Henrique da Silva tied for the round win courtesy of matching 89.5-point conversions.

Meeting the 8 early on in the contest as the seventh participant to exit the chutes, Campos danced with Moonlight Party for the 89.5-point score as the first to get on the scoreboard. Later seeing Silva post an identical mark courtesy of his showdown with Flyin Wired, he joined Campos is earning 68 UTB points as the first-year Brazilians split the Round 4 honors.

Rounding out the podium finishes, Jesse Petri teamed up with Mr. Right Now for 88.75 points en route to advancing to the No. 10 rank in the premier series rankings. Netting 44 points for the bronze finish, he occupies the 12th spot on the event leaderboard heading into Friday night’s Round 5 slate.

Meanwhile in the 2023 YETI World Champion Bull race, it was Ridin Solo who bucked his way atop the bovine standings, courtesy of his event-best 46.5-point bull score earned Thursday by dispatching veteran Chase Outlaw in a quick 3.54 seconds.
