Behind the Lens: 2023 PBR World Finals Round 3

Recording the first ride to meet the coveted 90-point mark, 2023 Rookie of the Year frontrunner Rafael Jose de Brito wowed the crowd Sunday afternoon via his 90.5-point conversion atop Chiseled. Earning a check for $35,000, Brito exited the opening weekend of action with a critical 89 UTB points, climbing from No. 9 to No. 7 in the standings, and now just 336 points back of No. 1 Kaique Pacheco.

2020 PBR World Finals event winner Boudreaux Campbell later produced the second 90-point effort of the weekend, teaming up with I’m Legit Too for 90.25 points. Collecting the silver placing, the No.5-ranked rider sits second overall in the event aggregate, just .75 points behind the current leader Ramon de Lima.

After going 0-for-2 to begin the weekend, No. 3 Dalton Kasel returned to the ride column en route to bringing home a bronze finish in Round 3. Besting Hang Em High for 89 points, the talented 24-year-old earned 44 UTB points, inching within 187.34 points of Pacheco.
