When Round 2 of the 2023 PBR World Finals: Unleash The Beast was officially in the books, it was hometown favorite Austin Richardson who exited the second slate with his first-ever round win at a World Finals event. Converting aboard Black Gold for a round-high 89.75 points, he collected 88 UTB points for the victory en route to tying Derek Kolbaba atop the event aggregate standings.
After producing a career-first qualified ride within the World Finals competition format, 2022 PBR Canada Champion Nick Tetz netted 44 UTB points for his 89-point effort atop Bandito Bug as the first to strike on Saturday night.
