WHAT’S AT STAKE

Chicago is where early momentum meets real pressure, and riders find out if it’s diamond-strong or just Christmas coal. With refined 0.1-point scoring now in play and the first rider cut creeping closer, every out matters. One clean ride can change a season, and one miss can leave a rider chasing points before January even hits. Modo Casino PBR Chicago is the kind of weekend that separates contenders from catch-up mode.

PAST CHICAGO GLORY

The reigning Chicago champion returns as Brady Fielder looks to defend his 2025 event buckle, but he arrives sitting ninth in the standings after opening weekend in Manchester. That’s hardly unfamiliar territory in this sport, where eight seconds can flip a leaderboard in a hurry.

Fielder earned last year’s Chicago win by surviving a five-way Championship Round showdown, sealing the buckle with an 89.75-point ride aboard Tulsa Time to edge Anderson de Oliveira by five points. Chicago has a history of rewarding riders who can deliver when it counts, with past champions including Jose Vitor Leme, Stetson Lawrence, Jess Lockwood, Cooper Davis and Silvano Alves — proof that no spot in the standings is safe.

REMATCH RECAP

Round 1 in Chicago brings a slate of familiar foes back together. Cassio Dias meets Margin of Error again after a quick trip in Oklahoma City, while Clay Guiton draws I’m a Hostage, a bull he conquered for 86.75 points in Fort Collins.

Eduardo Aparecido looks to stay perfect against Red Hot, while Julio Cesar Marques takes another crack at Lap Dancer, who has owned their past meetings. Leandro Zampollo gets a second chance against Project X, and Sage Steele Kimzey looks to break through against Diablo. Rounding out the matchups, Maverick Smith squares off with Black Tie once more after a short 3.86 seconds in Kansas City last season.

From long-awaited bull rematches to Chicago buckle hopefuls, two nights at United Center will go a long way in shaping the early 2026 title chase, with all the action streaming live on Paramount+.
