PORTLAND, Ore.- When the PBR (Professional Bull Riders) Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour (PWVT) returns to Moda Center in 2026, Oregon fans will once again be treated to two nights of intense action as the world’s top bull riders and the sport’s most talented animal athletes compete at PBR Portland on Jan. 2-3.
Serving as the only PBR event in the “Beaver State” for the 2025-2026 season, fans will be on the edge of their seat for the 11th year, as the leagues top athletes compete for crucial Velocity Global points needed to punch their ticket to the PWVT Finals in May 2026.
In January 2025, when the PBR last visited Portland, Utah athlete Dalton Rudman (Wellington, Utah) championed the weekend, securing his fourth ever event win.
Rudman first landed on the leaderboard in Round 1 on Friday night, with a third-place finish, after making the whistle aboard Get At Me for an incredible 85 points.
Headed into Saturday’s opening round, the 30-year-old set his sights on Do It, matching his Round 1 score, with another 85-point ride and a fourth-place finish.
Going into the championship round with high hopes, the talented Utah rider was paired with Snoop Dog. He once again made the eight, earning an 87-point score, making him one of only two men to successfully ride in the final round, and the only man to go a perfect 3-for-3 in Oregon.
Riders just like Rudman from around the world will take to the dirt at 8 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 2 and at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 3. Tickets can be purchased at Ticketmaster.com, Moda Center Box office, PBR.com or by phone on (800)732-1727.
