Key Storylines for Duluth...
The stakes don’t get much higher as the Florida Freedom’s homestand kicks off the only home event of their 2025 season—and they’re rolling in with serious momentum. After notching the first perfect game in team history in Week 2, the Freedom now look to defend their turf in front of a fired-up Sunrise crowd.
Adding to the buzz? It’s a broadcast milestone weekend, with all three days airing across Fox Nation, The CW, and CBS—the first time in league history that a Teams event will be showcased on three national networks.
Leading the charge for Florida is closer John Crimber, always looking to walk off the win—but just as content riding last when the game’s already been sealed. Whether it’s 4-for-4 with his name still on the board or the pressure-packed final ride, Crimber continues to deliver for a Freedom team riding high after their perfect game in Week 2. But they’ll have to give it all they’ve got if they want to shake up the rankings and tangle with the Rattlers—the league leaders are welcoming back Brady Fielder, who returns after missing Duluth with a fractured leg suffered at Last Cowboy Standing. He reenters a deep roster that was anchored in his absence by fellow Aussie Callum Miller and Braidy Randolph. Fielder is also on the hunt to reclaim his No. 1 spot in the MVP race, after Koltin Hevalow slid into the lead while Fielder rested his lanky legs.
The Nashville Stampede are coming off a hard-fought win on Day 1 in Duluth, but watch out for Damião Soares, who made a big statement in his Teams debut, earning MVP honors on Day 2. The Kansas City Outlaws are chasing redemption after a tough weekend, and the Arizona Ridge Riders are within striking distance of the top of the standings—just barely trailing the Rattlers at 4-1 as they eye that No. 1 spot.
Meanwhile, the Carolina Cowboys may be without veteran Daylon Swearingen after his run-in with the Devil down in Georgia—but don’t count him out just yet. Expect to see the 2022 World Champion supporting Carolina’s big 2025 trade acquisition Clay Guiton, while rookie Alisson de Souza steps up in Swearingen’s absence.
With two weeks in the books, don’t be surprised if teams start shaking up their lineups and rosters. Week 3 could be the turning point—stay tuned for every ride, every rematch, and every rising star as the road to Las Vegas heats up in Sunrise.
