Austin, Texas – Despite being stunned in the second straight game, this time by the Oklahoma Wildcatters tonight in Austin, the Arizona Ridge Riders hold claim to the top stop in the 2025 PBR Camping World Team Series standings by a game, while the race for second has tightened up with three teams boasting an 8-4 record.
The Wildcatters (3-9) once again upset a top-ranked team, defeating the top-ranked Arizona Ridge Riders (9-3) 174.5-168.75 one week after defeating the second-ranked Texas Rattlers in Nashville. Josh Frost rode Big Shasta for 88.5 points, putting Oklahoma on the board before Arizona took the lead with rides by Eduardo Aparecido and Luciano De Castro in the second and fourth frames. Cort McFadden sealed the game for Oklahoma with an 86-point ride, besting Blonde Bomber.

Edging the New York Mavericks (3-9) by one ride, the Missouri Thunder (6-6) improved to an even .500 on the season in the 173.5-87.5 outing. While the Mavericks held the lead for most of the game with an 87.5-point ride by Mauricio Gulla Moreira, Missouri charged back with consecutive rides to steal the game. Jett Harkins helped the Thunder take the lead with an 89.25-point ride before Andrew Alvidrez rode Snappy for 84.25.
The Carolina Cowboys (5-7) stole its fifth win of the season 163-88.25 against the Kansas City Outlaws (6-6) Friday night. The Cowboys’ Adriano Salgado rode Bad Boy for 86.5 points followed by a 76.5 outing by Clay Guiton atop Coal Train. The ride was Guiton’s ninth-consecutive ride, keeping him atop the MVP Standings with 851.75 points.
Brady Fielder rode his eighth bull of the season in nine outings to set the tone in the Texas Rattlers’ 263-174 win over the Nashville Stampede. Texas improved to 8-4 as the Stampede fell to 4-8. Following Fielder’s ride in the opening frame, the squad added rides by Daniel Keeping (87.75) on Torched and Ezekiel Mitchell (85.5) on Rip. Texas snapped a two-game losing streak.
The Florida Freedom (8-4) upset host team Austin Gamblers (8-4) 257.75-170.5 to open Gambler Days. João Ricardo Vieira lasted eight on Bucktown for an early 81.75-point ride, and Thiago Salgado followed with 87.5 points atop The Kraken. Closer John Crimber bested Mississippi Mercenary for 88.5 points to finish off the Gamblers.
The riders went 20-for-50 atop the rankest bulls in the world to open Gambler Days.
Action resumes Saturday, August 23 at 6:45 p.m. CT with the second outing of Gambler Days in Austin, Texas at the Moody Center.
