SUNRISE, FL – During the second night of action at Freedom Days inside Amerant Bank Arena, the Arizona Ridge Riders resoundingly defeated the league’s then-No. 1 team, the Texas Rattlers 260.25 - 89, to improve to 6-1 on the season and move atop the 2025 PBR Camping World Team Series standings.
Arizona and Texas (5-2) both entered the fourth game of the night with a 5-1 record, battling for the top spot in the standings. Everton Natan da Silva kicked things off for Arizona, riding Rip Tide for 85.75 points for the lead. After a pair of buck offs, Luciano De Castro rode Bex Red Eye for 88.5 points, setting up Keyshawn Whitehorse to clinch the win aboard Wingnut for 86 points.
Following four qualified rides on Friday night, the Austin Gamblers (4-3) rode three more on Saturday to top the Missouri Thunder (3-4) 245-175.75. Sage Steele Kimzey and Dener Barbosa came out of the gate strong with 85.5 and 72.75-point rides. Jose Vitor Leme helped take home the victory with an 86.75-point ride on Wicked In a Winning Way – the three-time World Champion’s all-time Teams leading 70th qualified ride. For the Thunder, Jett Harkins earned his first qualified ride in PBR Teams, netting 86.25 points on Karla’s Pure Country.
Coming down to the last out, the Carolina Cowboys (4-3) walked off the Oklahoma Wildcatters (1-6) when Clay Guiton conquered Demonic for 87 points. Following a fast start with Cooper Davis and Adriano Salgado making the 8, the Cowboys’ third ride of the night lifted them to a 258.25-174.25 win.
The Kansas City Outlaws (5-2) improved to 2-0 during Freedom Days with a 171-86 outing against the Nashville Stampede (2-5). Both squads notched opening rides with Alan de Souza for the Stampede (86) and Koltin Hevalow for the Outlaws (84.5). In the bottom of the fifth, Sandro Batista rode Peterbilt as a re-ride for a game-clinching score of 86.5.
In the final game of the evening, the Florida Freedom (4-3) rode three bulls to best the New York Mavericks (1-6) 260.25 - 87.5. Thiago Salgado rode Rank Hank for 87 points for an early lead before Leonardo Castro solved Coal Train for 87.5 points to take a half-point advantage. Joao Ricardo Vieira lasted the full eight on Bucktown for 87.25 points to take a lead the Freedom wouldn’t relinquish. Joao Lucas Campos made the final successful ride of the game, staying on Black Tie for 86 points.
The riders knocked down 21 successful rides against the 50 bulls faced for an impressive 42% riding percentage.
Freedom Days continue with the event’s conclusion Sunday afternoon, Aug. 10, at 1:45 p.m. ET in Sunrise, Florida at Amerant Bank Arena.
