BIG SKY, Mont. – As arguably the most picturesque PBR (Professional Bull Riders) event of the season got underway Thursday night in Big Sky, Montana, Brady Fielder (Clermont, Queensland, Australia) rode supreme, winning Round 1 of Big Sky PBR.
Fielder, who rides for the Texas Rattlers in the separate PBR Teams league, was tasked with Cramer (McCoy Rodeo/Yellowstone Bulls) in Round 1 of the 11-time PBR Event of the Year.
Bursting from the chutes, Fielder remained in perfect time with the powerful animal athlete, marked a round-winning 87 points. Courtesy of the 8-second effort, Fielder earned 28 points in the race for the 2025 PBR Challenger Series Championship.
Fellow Texas Rattler Daniel Keeping (Montague, Texas) was second.
Keeping conquered Boomerang (Blake Sharp/Stacy Utz/Rachel Farris/Tristen Jones/Stacey Rickman) for 85.5 points to collect 18 Challenger Global points.
2021 Big Sky PBR event winner Junior Patrik Souza (Pedro Gomes, Brazil) parlayed an 84-point effort atop Lansky (McCoy Rodeo/Jacobson) into a third-place finish in Round 1. Souza left Big Sky Town Center Thursday evening with 17 Challenger Global points.
Fourth was Andrew Alvidrez (Seminole, Texas).
The Missouri Thunder rider bested Cowboy Uber (McCoy Rodeo/Schraub) for 82.5 points to net 16 Challenger Global points.
Rounding out the Top 5 in fifth was Texas Rattler Callum Miller (Warwick, Queensland, Australia).
Miller made the requisite 8 on Boot Barns Hired Gun (McCoy Rodeo/Aaron Williams) for 82 points. He earned 15 Challenger Global points.
Five additional riders will begin Round 2 of Big Sky PBR with a score on the board. Those competitors are: Brady Turgeon (New River, Arizona), Alan de Souza (Tremembé, Brazil), Trace Redd (Malad, Idaho), Paulo Eduardo Rossetto (Colorado, Brazil) and Alex Cerqueira (Iguatemi, Brazil).
