A week of standout performances, breakout runs and world-title clinches caps off an unforgettable 2025 WCJR in Guthrie, Oklahoma.

GUTHRIE, Okla. – The 2025 Cinch World Championship Junior Rodeo (WCJR) concluded in Guthrie, Oklahoma, following a week of elite youth rodeo competition. Hundreds of athletes from across the country descended on the iconic Lazy E Arena to compete for championship titles, a share of the $410,000 payout, and the prestigious honor of being crowned WCJR event champions and Division Youth World Champions.

Blaze Carter (Seminole, Oklahoma) secured the Youth Tie-Down Roping event championship with a 7.81-second run, earning $1,550. In Youth Ladies Pole Bending, Shayde Jackson (Burbank, Oklahoma) topped the leaderboard with a time of 20.516 seconds, riding Firewater Babe to a $1,725 payday. Hadley Hubble (Stephenville, Texas) dominated in Goat Tying with a 7.30-second run to claim the event championship. Brook Banks (Bristow, Oklahoma) continued her commanding presence in Breakaway Roping, clocking a blazing 1.83 seconds to take the event championship, reinforcing her standing after also securing the 2025 Youth Breakaway Roping World Championship.

Team Roping saw Arkansas cowboys Bentley Davis and Weston Lakin lay down a 6.02-second run to capture the Youth Team Roping event championship. In the barrels, Hadlee Landers (Lawton, Oklahoma) piloted Regally Classic through the pattern in 16.833 seconds for the Youth Barrel Racing event title and a $2,075 payout.

Across the Junior Division, new champions emerged in a range of roughstock and timed events. Westen Chandler (Iredell, Texas) took home the Junior Bareback Riding title with an 85.00-point ride. Wyatt Lavergne (Sulphur, Louisiana) clinched the Saddle Bronc championship with an 82-point ride, while his brother Ty Lavergne (Sulphur, Louisiana) posted an 85.00 to win Bull Riding and earn $4,333. In Junior Steer Wrestling, Ryden Martin (Sulphur, Louisiana) got the tip at 4.20 seconds to win the event and take home $3,100.

Cutter Pareo (Portales, New Mexico) topped the Junior Tie-Down Roping leaderboard with a 7.04-second run, claiming the event title and $3,750. Merrick Moyer (Woodward, Oklahoma) returned to form by winning the Junior Ladies Pole Bending event championship with a 20.109-second run aboard French This Redneck. Moyer was also the 2024 world champion in the division, making this her second consecutive title. Colee Cox (Tell, Texas) led the way in Junior Goat Tying with a time of 6.61 seconds, while Alex Poole (Lake Charles, Louisiana) captured Junior Breakaway Roping with a 2.13-second run and $6,000 top payout. In Junior Team Roping, Casper and Cross Ringelstein (Pleasanton, Texas) earned the event championship with a 4.58-second run.

In Junior Ladies Barrel Racing, Rinley Rawlins (Midlothian, Texas) ran the fastest time of 16.912 aboard TB Rivers Canyon Guy to secure the event title and $4,700.

The Division Youth World Championships were awarded to athletes with the highest cumulative point totals between June 23, 2024, and July 26, 2025. Alaina Dean earned the Girls Breakaway Roping World Championship after entering the finals in second place and adding 2,300 points to close with 5,713.75 points. In Pole Bending, Ashtyn Mordica claimed the title with 5,253.75 points, after placing in the top five in the 2024 finals and maintaining her lead through consistent performance.

Brook Banks achieved a rare and dominant double by winning both the event and world titles in Breakaway Roping, finishing the season with 11,313.00 points. Acey Autrey earned the Goat Tying World Championship with 12,516.75 points, adding to her 2024 Junior title.

Bronc Evans repeated as both Youth Heading and Heeling World Champion, and once again earned the Youth All-Around World title, closing the season with 25,884 points.

The Girls All-Around World Champion in the Youth Division was Taylor Rickman (Adair, Oklahoma), who competed in barrels, poles, breakaway, and goat tying. She began the week with 12,059.5 points and ended with 18,847.50 to take the All-Around buckle.

In the Junior Division, Merrick Moyer continued her winning streak, capturing the Girls Breakaway Roping World Championship with 14,693.50 points after entering with 9,335.50. She also earned the Junior Girls All-Around World Championship, competing in GBR, Pole Bending, and Breakaway, and closed the season with a remarkable 23,742.00 points.

Carsyn Holbrook (Cibolo, Texas) claimed the Junior Pole Bending World Championship with a season total of 9,446.75 points, while Josey James (Bulverde, Texas), a returning champion, earned the Junior Breakaway Roping World Championship with a dominant 25,986.00 points. Allie Calcote (Sugartown, Louisiana) added a world title in Junior Goat Tying to her résumé, finishing with 14,722.00 points.

On the roping side, Casper Ringelstein earned the Junior Heading World Championship with 8,616.25 points, while his brother Cross Ringelstein secured the Junior Heeling World Championship with 7,622.75.

Myles Nixon (Nara Visa, New Mexico) completed a stellar season by taking home the Junior Tie-Down World Championship with 28,491.00 points. Nixon also earned the Junior Boys All-Around World Championship, compiling points in heading, heeling, and tie-down to finish with 28,620.50.

In Steer Wrestling, Jake Holmes (Mulberry, Kansas) was crowned Junior Steer Wrestling World Champion with 14,822.50 points. Daxtyn Field led the way in Junior Bareback Riding, compiling 9,535.25 points for the season. The Lavergne brothers completed their sweep of roughstock world titles, with Ty Lavergne earning the Junior Bull Riding World Championship at 7,450.00 points and Wyatt Lavergne taking the Junior Saddle Bronc World Championship with 12,847.25 points.
