LOUD, BOLTON, CRIMBER SPLIT OPENING ROUND OF ELIMINATIONS: Three riders sit tied atop the event leaderboard after Round 1 of Eliminations as Kaiden Loud, Hudson Bolton and John Crimber all made the 8 inside the historic Cowtown Coliseum Thursday night. Loud, who covered Woody for 88 points, catapulted from No. 20 to No. 14 in the Unleash The Beast standings within the tightly-packed group of riders fighting for the coveted Top 15, which guarantees a spot at the PBR World Finals – Championship inside AT&T Stadium next weekend. Loud faces off with Rockville in Round 2 on Friday.
Bolton also rose in the standings after riding July for 88 points of his own, moving from No. 26 to No. 24 to keep his hopes of a berth in the Championship rounds alive. In addition, Bolton is now just 58.33 points behind No. 17 Anderson de Oliveira in the 2025 Rookie of the Year race after the Brazilian bucked off Tigger in 1.78 seconds in the opening round. Bolton looks to continue his rise up the standings as he takes on Fringe Minority in the second round.
The final rider to score 88 points, Crimber covered Spunky Energy and remained No. 3 in the standings, closing the gap on No. 1 Dalton Kasel to 423 points as both Kasel and No. 2 Brady Fielder were bested by their elite animal athlete counterparts in the opening round of Eliminations. Kasel bucked off Good Riddance in 2.96 seconds while Fielder touched the dirt while still holding the rope at a heartbreaking 7.93 seconds. On Friday night, Crimber battles Walk Hard in Round 2, while Kasel and Fielder attempt to rebound aboard Top Dollar and Nobody, respectively.
BULL PEN: Tonight’s draw will feature a rank pen, with the top contenders for this year’s YETI World Champion Bull title set to take on 43 of the top bull riders in the world. The 2025 YETI PBR World Champion Bull will be the animal with the highest average bull score from his eight highest-scored outs logged during the 2024 Camping World Team Series and 2025 Unleash The Beast regular season, and their top two scores out of three outs at the 2025 PBR World Finals.
