FORT WORTH, Texas – Ahead of the second of three stages for the 2025 PBR (Professional Bull Riders) World Finals: Unleash The Beast, the organization today announced the field of riders who will compete during Ride For Redemption on May 14-15 at Cowtown Coliseum in Fort Worth, Texas. Ride For Redemption will award the final five berths to the World Finals – Championship on May 17-18 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, completing a field of 25 riders. where the 2025 World Champion will be crowned.
Ride For Redemption will follow a new four-round, progressive elimination format.
On Wednesday, May 14, 22 invited riders will take on two bovine athletes as they look to claim one of five spots available on the second day of Ride For Redemption. Following two rounds of action, the five riders with the highest aggregate scores will advance to the following day.
The riders competing Wednesday night include: five riders from the weekly PBR Stockyards Showcase events, the 2025 WRCA (World Champions Rodeo Alliance) Rodeo Corpus Christi Champion, 10 PBR Teams invites, any of the five Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour invites from the Eliminations stage who failed to qualify for the Championship and the five riders ranked No. 6-10 in the Velocity Global standings.

On Thursday, May 15, those five riders who have advanced will join the 20 riders who didn’t qualify for the Championship during the Eliminations stage. All 25 riders will attempt one bull in Round 1. The five riders who advanced via Wednesday’s aggregate will only advance to Round 2 if they cover their opening round bull, while the remaining 20 riders are guaranteed to compete in both rounds. The Top 5 bull riders in Thursday night’s two-round Ride For Redemption aggregate will advance to the PBR World Finals – Championship at AT&T Stadium on May 17-18. While no Unleash The Beast points will be awarded during Ride For Redemption, the event will award $45,000 in prize money across the four rounds of competition.
