QUEEN CITY BUCKOFF: This weekend, PBR’s elite 2025 Unleash The Beast returns to Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The twentieth stop of the 24-event 2025 individual season is the tenth time and fifth consecutive season the top tour has visited Sioux Falls. Denny Sanford PREMIER Center will host the PBR for three days of action on Friday, April 4, at 7:45 p.m. CT, Saturday, April 5, at 7:45 p.m. CT and Sunday, April 6, at 1:45 p.m. CT.
PAULO EDUARDO ROSSETTO WINS FIRST CAREER PREMIER SERIES EVENT IN THE PIT: Switch-handed rider Paulo Eduardo Rossetto went 3-for-4 to win the first premier series event of his career in Albuquerque, New Mexico, last weekend. The Brazilian began his weekend by riding Mr. Demon for a round-winning 90.75 points in Round 1 before covering One Chance for 88.5 points in Round 2. Now on a roll, the ambidextrous Rossetto topped Judgement Day for 87.25 points in Round 3. Despite bucking off Nobody in 2.66 seconds in the championship round, Rossetto had done enough to take home the event title. After climbing from No. 12 to No. 6 in the Unleash The Beast standings, Rossetto takes on Good Riddance in Round 1 on Friday.
Also of note were the performances by No. 17 Eduardo Aparecido and No. 11 Leonardo Castro, who finished second and third, respectively. Aparecido topped King Tut for 90.5 points in Round 1 but was bucked off by Sucker Pop in 1.9 seconds in Round 2. The veteran rebounded in Round 3, riding Hunter for 87 points before making the 8 aboard UTZ BesTex Smokestack for 88 points in the championship round. Castro proved his mettle by bouncing back after bucking off Constant Payne in 2.43 seconds in Round 1. Finding his groove, Castro rode Yo Mamma for 86.25 points in Round 2, Big X for 85.25 points in Round 3 and Top Dollar for 89.5 points in the championship round. Castro attempts to extend his ride streak to four atop Rip in Round 1 this weekend, while Aparecido takes on Air Marshall.
