MILL SPRING, N.C. – For the fifth time in as many years, PBR (Professional Bull Riders) will buck into the state-of-the-art Tryon International, bringing the Challenger Series’ PBR Tryon, powered by Stuller Power Solutions, to Mill Spring, North Carolina, on June 20-21.

For two nights only, some of the best bull riders in the world will battle the sport’s rankest bovine athletes in the ultimate showdown of man vs. beast in a series showcasing one of the most exciting and unpredictable live sporting events to witness.

PBR Tryon, powered by Stuller Power Solutions, is held at one of the most renowned venues across the 2025 Challenger Series schedule. The Tryon International Equestrian Center & Resort (Tryon International, TIEC) is the ultimate destination for all who love horses, outdoor living, and an active lifestyle. TIEC offers first-class facilities for equestrian events of all levels and disciplines as well as world-class entertainment. Located in the Blue Ridge Foothills of Mill Spring, North Carolina, the competition experience is complemented by a variety of onsite restaurants and shops, relaxing lodging getaways, family entertainment, and more.

The PBR Challenger Series will hold more than 60 events from May-October, culminating with its Championship on October 22-23 in Las Vegas. The PBR Challenger Series provides additional competitive opportunities for bull riders who are both affiliated and unaffiliated with a PBR Teams league team.

In 2023, PBR’s Challenger Series debuted at TIEC as Ezekiel Mitchell (Rockdale, Texas) tied for the event win alongside the Mid-Atlantic’s Carlos Garcia (Abingdon, Virginia).

Last June, when PBR Tryon, powered by Stuller Power Solutions, returned to TIEC, Keyshawn Whitehorse (McCracken Spring, Utah) went 2-for-3 to win the annual tour stop in the Tar Heel State.

While Whitehorse, who rides for the Arizona Ridge Riders in the separate PBR Teams league, was bucked off in Round 1, tossed by Velvet Revolver (Blake Sharp/Henry Wilson) in 4.52 seconds, but he was quick to rebound on Championship Saturday.

Whitehorse first converted in Round 2, besting Wolverine (Cornwell Bucking Bulls) for 84 points. In the final round, the veteran contender was tasked with Eyes On Me (Lucas Manning Bucking Bulls), who he conquered for an event-best 89 points, clinching both the round and event win.

The bull riding action for the 2025 PBR Tryon, powered by Stuller Power Solutions, at Tryon International begins at 8 p.m. ET on Friday, June 20, and 7 p.m. ET on Saturday, June 21.

All 35 competing bull riders will get on one bull each in Round 1 on Friday night and Round 2 on Saturday evening. The riders’ individual two-round scores will be totaled with the Top 10 advancing to the championship round for one more out and a chance at the event title.

Single-day tickets for the event go on sale Friday, April 18 at 10 a.m. ET, and start at $30, taxes and fees not included. Tickets can be purchased online at Tryon.com and PBR.com, or by calling PBR customer service at 1-800-732-1727.

Two-day ticket packages are available, offering fans a 20% discount on select price levels.

VIP tickets will also be available for PBR Tryon, powered by Stuller Power Solutions.
