EUGENE, Ore. – When the dust settled at the Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour’s (PWVT) PBR (Professional Bull Riders) Eugene, Callum Miller (Warwick, Queensland, Australia) emerged victorious, going 2-for-3.

Sharing a chute with Peanut (Humpz and Hornz) in the opening round, Miller converted for 86.5 points to earn the round win.

Despite being bucked off by Rocker (Big Bend/Flying Five) in 7.16 seconds in Round 2, the Aussie rallied to ride Hell Bent (Humpz and Hornz/Frances Dandy) for 88.5 points to win the championship round.

The victory secured Miller 136 Velocity Global points.

Conner Halverson (Gordon, Nebraska) finished second.

The Cornhusker cowboy rocketed out of the gates on Re Do (Corey & Lange Rodeo) for 85.5 points in Round 1 before covering Gringo (Big Bend/Flying Five) for 85 points in Round 2.

Halverson stormed out of the chutes on Train Station (Legacy Pro Rodeo) in the championship round but was bucked off after 2.76 seconds.

The silver finish netted Halverson 85 Velocity Global points.

The final spot on the podium went to Ashton Sahli (Red Deer, Alberta, Canada).

After bucking off Lock n’ Load (Humpz and Hornz) in 2.66 seconds in Round 1, Sahli roared back to ride Shattered Dreams (NS Cattle Co) for 85.5 points in Round 2 and Leather Face (Legacy Pro Rodeo) for 83 points in the championship round.

The Canadian returned home with 77 Velocity Global points.

In fourth place was Bob Mitchell (Steelville, Missouri).

Mitchell ended the opening round in a tie for fifth by riding Dream On (Corey & Lange Rodeo) for 82 points.

The Missourian then covered Faded Dreams (Wentz Bucking Bulls) for 84 points in Round 2 to punch his ticket to the championship round.

Tasked with Razzmatazz (Legacy Pro Rodeo), Mitchell thundered out of the gate but was bucked off in a heartbreaking 7.13 seconds.

The 2-for-3 performance garnered Mitchell 50 Velocity Global points.

Rounding out the Top 5 was Dustin Herman (Dudley Shoals, North Carolina).

Despite bucking off Thrasher (Legacy Pro Rodeo) in 3.57 seconds in Round 1, Herman rebounded to make the 8 atop Get At Me (Diamond C Cattle Co) for 85.5 points in Round 2.

The North Carolinian attempted to climb the leaderboard further atop Big Cheif (Legacy Pro Rodeo) in the championship round but was bucked off after 6.9 seconds.

Velocity Global points contribute to the Velocity Global Standings and determine which new riders are added to the elite Unleash The Beast throughout the season. The Top 3 Velocity Global riders who have not already qualified are also invited to the PBR World Finals in May.

In the bull pen, Train Station was marked 45.5 points for his buckoff of Halverson in the championship round to win the Bull of the Event title.

The Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour next travels to Grand Forks, North Dakota, for the Silencer Shop PBR Grand Forks on April 11-12.
