ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Coming off a season-high-tying 54 qualified rides in Palm Desert, California, the premier series pack appears ready to ride as Unleash The Beast sets its sights on The Pit for this weekend’s PBR Albuquerque Ty Murray Invitational.
Attempting to become just the second cowboy in PBR history to secure four-consecutive event titles on the top tour, new No. 1 Dalton Kasel is bringing an epic 10-out ride streak into Friday’s opening round.
Easily the sport’s top story ahead of the Week 19 showcase, the pack’s top dawg will be sporting green and black Friday night as he leads his Austin Gamblers in battle against No. 2 Brady Fielder (who he leads by a mere 43.5 UTB points) and the Texas Rattlers.
Set to overtake the final 12 outs of the opening round, this weekend’s Monster Energy Team Challenge, presented by Camping World, will feature the pace-setting talent as he looks to lend his teammates some red-hot momentum and even the best-of-three Land.com Texas Cup series.

Kasel will have plenty of time to continue duking it out with Fielder ahead of and likely throughout the 2025 PBR World Finals: Unleash The Beast. But an early conversion combined with a win against his squad’s noted rival would only further fire him up.
2025 PBR Unleash The Beast Standings:
1. Dalton Kasel (947 points)
2. Brady Fielder (904.5 points)
3. Sage Steele Kimzey (695.75 points)
4. John Crimber (593 points)
5. Andrew Alvidrez (570.75 points)
6. Luciano De Castro (515.83 points)
7. Cort McFadden (483.08 points)
8. Kaique Pacheco (463.5 points)
9. Keyshawn Whitehorse (457.5 points)
10. Anderson de Oliveira (431.83 points)
His teammates in No. 3 Sage Steele Kimzey and No. 8 Kaique Pacheco will of course be rooting for Kasel in Round 1 while attempting to chase him down throughout the duration of the four-round event as they continue their own successful slates.
And while No. 4 John Crimber has been on a bit of a hiatus from his usual chart-topping antics, the tour’s No. 5-ranked talent Andrew Alvidrez will actually be out of competition this weekend, set to rest up from an injury sustained during his runner-up effort in Palm Desert.
Breathing both some health and youthfulness into the lineup, New York Mavericks rookie Hudson Bolton returns to the chutes for the first time in more than two months.
Putting together one hell of a start to the season, it seemed apparent that he would run away with the 2025 PBR Rookie of the Year honors following an encouraging 9-for-14 start to the year. However, 8 seconds is more than enough time to see your plans altered, so we’ll have to stay tuned to see whether sparks fly in Round 1 during his dance with Hunter.

Fans around the world await the return of two-time World Champion Jose Vitor Leme, who is close to being ready to compete.
But in the meantime, they can root for a guy like Teigan Gray, who’s set to make his PBR debut Friday night inside The Pit. Continuing an annual tradition, the Ty Murray Invitational extends an invitation to the Indian National Finals Rodeo (INFR) Champion, a title earned by the 26-year-old in 2024 via a standout 3-for-4 effort.
Set to get a taste of Umm during his opening night opportunity, will the Eagle Butte, South Dakota, native make some waves down south?
Lineups and draw are in for the nineteenth of 23 regular season Unleash The Beast showdowns, so we’re taking a closer look at Friday night’s matchups, rematches and everything you need to know ahead of the weekend’s opening slate!
With the premier series primed to invade Albuquerque, New Mexico, 28-30, we’re breaking down starting lineups for competition inside The Pit (With coverage set to begin at 8 p.m. MT via PBR’s YouTube channel and Ride Pass on Pluto TV).
