KANSAS CITY – In anticipation of the first-ever TKO takeover weekend in Kansas City, Missouri, from April 24-28, PBR (Professional Bull Riders), part of premium sports entertainment company TKO Group Holdings (NYSE: TKO), announced that their event, the PBR Knockout: PBR Teams Missouri vs. The World, will buck into T-Mobile Center on Thursday, April 24, at 7:45 p.m. CT.
In this exciting PBR Teams showcase opening “TKO Takeover Presented by VeChain,” the Kansas City Outlaws and Missouri Thunder will team up to take on riders from the remaining eight PBR Teams based upon the results from a round of rivalry games among the teams located outside of Missouri.
The Outlaws, who will hang their 2024 Regular Season Champion banner during the event, led the league in qualified rides (83), riding percentage (52.2%) and 90-point rides (7) behind their three stars Sandro Batista, Koltin Hevalow and 2024 PBR World Champion Cassio Dias, finishing the season with a 19-9 record.
The Thunder, who finished sixth in the 2024 regular season with a 12-16 record, are captained by Andrew Alvidrez, who is currently ranked No. 6 in the 2025 Unleash The Beast standings after riding 2024 YETI World Champion Bull Man Hater for a tour season-high 94 points in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, last weekend.
In addition to the action on the dirt, members of the Kansas City Outlaws will participate in to-be-announced events and appearances throughout the week as PBR, UFC and WWE bring events to Kansas City.
TKO Takeover showcases consecutive PBR, UFC, and WWE events over a single weekend in the same city. Beginning with PBR Knockout on Thurs., April 24, continuing with UFC FIGHT NIGHT on Saturday, April 26, and culminating with WWE's flagship weekly program Raw on Monday, April 28.
