LINCOLN, Neb. – For the second consecutive season, PBR (Professional Bull Riders) is joining with renowned comedian Larry the Cable Guy to bring fans a very special bull ride and an amplified level of excitement to the upcoming Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour event in Lincoln, Nebraska, on March 29.

The two entertainment powerhouses will again unite to hold the Larry the Cable Guy’s Git-R-Done Bonus Bull, which will afford the event winner of Boot Barn PBR Lincoln inside Pinnacle Bank Arena the chance to attempt the multihyphenate entertainer’s bull Mr. Koolie for their chance to win a $10,000 bonus.

Last season, during the inaugural year of the Larry the Cable Guy’s Git-R-Done Bonus, PBR Lincoln event winner Dalton Krantz (Somers, Iowa) earned his shot to take on Mr. Koolie. The powerful animal athlete emerged the supreme competitor, tossing Krantz in 2.01 seconds.

Larry the Cable Guy has a longstanding history with the sport as an avid fan and investor in some of the top bulls who contribute 50% to every ride score. While Mr. Koolie is his newest bovine athlete, Larry the Cable Guy was a partial owner in one of the sport’s top all-time and most beloved bulls, 2007 World Champion Bull Chicken on a Chain

“Once again I’m super excited to be a part of the exciting and wildly entertaining PBR Velocity Tour in Lincoln at The Vault and showcase my bonus Bull Mr. Koolie,” said Larry the Cable Guy. “Last year was such a success and I’m stoked we’re doing it again. I’m so sure he won’t be ridden that I’ll pay a $10,000 bonus, and just in case I’m wrong I’ll be roaming the aisles collecting donations 20 minutes before the presentation. Git-R-Done and let’s Git-R-Bucked!”

Larry the Cable Guy, who continues to tour around the United States, is a multiplatinum recording artist, Grammy nominee, Billboard award winner and one of the top comedians in the country. Larry the Cable Guy has created The Git-R-Done Foundation, which was named after his signature catchphrase, and has donated more than $7 million to various charities.

The bull riding action for PBR Lincoln begins at 7 p.m. CT on Saturday, March 29. All 35 competing bull riders will get on one bull each in Round 1. The Top 10 will advance to the championship round later that evening for one more out and a chance at the event title.

The winner of Boot Barn PBR Lincoln will then have their chance to attempt Mr. Koolie. If the rider reaches the requisite 8, he will earn the $10,000 Larry the Cable Guy’s Git-R-Done Bonus, furnished by Larry the Cable Guy himself.

Thus far in his career, Mr. Koolie has appeared at 47 PBR events, logging 58 outs, with just four resulting in a qualified ride. Boasting a 93.1% buckoff rate, Mr. Koolie most recently bucked off 2022 PBR World Champion Daylon Swearingen (Piffard, New York) at the mid-March Unleash The Beast event in Louisville, Kentucky, tossing the gold buckle winner in 4.57 seconds.

The four riders to have covered the powerful animal athlete were 2018 PBR World Finals event winner Marco Eguchi (Poa, Brazil) in January 2022, Dustin Herman (Dudley Shoals, North Carolina) in July 2022, Andrew Alvidrez (Seminole, Texas) in September 2024, and two-time PBR World Champion Jose Vitor Leme (Ribas do Rio Pardo, Brazil) in January 2025.
