#InCaseYouMissedIt: Rossetto earns career win No. 1 to climb UTB standings

Miss a moment of the action this weekend? Here’s what happened around the PBR.

By Darci Miller

It’s been some time since we’ve welcomed a fresh new face to the winner’s circle, but this past weekend, Paulo Eduardo Rossetto took home his first-ever event buckle. Plus, the rookie race heated up, the Austin Gamblers evened their series against the Texas Rattlers, and more. Miss a moment of the action this weekend? Here’s what happened around the PBR.

On the Unleash The Beast…

On a weekend where the top riders in the UTB standings slumped, Paulo Eduardo Rossetto took advantage. He went 3-for-4 to win the PBR Albuquerque Ty Murray Invitational, climbing to No. 6 in the standings in the process.

Rossetto began his weekend with a Round 1 win thanks to a huge 90.75-point ride.

It took another 90-point ride to win Round 2 for Ethan Winckler – the first time in his career that he crossed the 90-point threshold.

The 2025 Rookie of the Year race got a little spicier with Hudson Bolton back in the draw after more than two months on the sidelines.

The Monster Energy Team Challenge, presented by Camping World, featured the Austin Gamblers taking on the Texas Rattlers in a matchup that featured the No. 1 and No. 2 riders in the UTB standings. But never count the underdogs out, as Ramon de Lima secured the win for Austin.

Meanwhile, on the Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour…

It was a big weekend for Marcus Mast, as the veteran won Round 1 in Fresno, California

and went on to take home the event win, his second of the season.

In Lincoln, Nebraska, Flavio Zivieri clinched his first PWVT event win since January 2023.

In the Touring Pro Division…

Jean Fernandes Pereira and Guilherme Valleiras split the event win at the PBR Stockyards Showcase in Fort Worth, Texas.
