#InCaseYouMissedIt: Kasel wins third event of 2025, second in a row, in Louisville

Miss a moment of the action this weekend? Here’s what happened around the PBR.

By Darci Miller

Can Dalton Kasel win the world title in 2025? Based on his performances lately, he’s thinking yes. Miss a moment of the action this weekend? Here’s what happened around the PBR.

On the Unleash The Beast…

There’s been nobody hotter of late than No. 2 Dalton Kasel (which is really saying something, since No. 1 Brady Fielder has ridden his last 12 bulls). Fresh off his second event win of the season in Little Rock, Kasel won Round 1 at the Kubota PBR Louisville

before finishing off a perfect 3-for-3 weekend to earn his league-best third event win of 2025 and climb to within 88 points of Fielder.

Louisville also saw a dominant performance by the Nashville Stampede, who took down the Carolina Cowboys in convincing fashion in their second Monster Energy Team Challenge, presented by Camping World, matchup.

Meanwhile, on the Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour…

At the PBR Tallahassee, Joao Lucas Campos and Callum Miller split the Round 1 win

but Carlos Andre de Oliveira converted in the final out to take the event win.

In Knoxville, Tennessee, Michael Lane, the winningest rider in Velocity Tour history, went 2-for-2 to win the 11th event of his VT career.

In the Touring Pro Division…

Ramon Fiorini de Souza went 2-for-2 to take the win at the PBR Stockyards Showcase in Fort Worth, Texas.
