It was a huge weekend in North Little Rock, Arkansas. Dalton Kasel changed the landscape of the 2025 world title race, Kaique Pacheco changed the history books, and the Missouri Thunder may no longer be the little brother in their rivalry with the Kansas City Outlaws. Miss a moment of the action this weekend? Here’s what happened around the PBR.
On the Unleash The Beast…
We’ve been saying for months that this could be the year Dalton Kasel finally wins a world title. At the PBR Little Rock, Kasel got as close as he’s ever been, going 3-for-3 for the event win and vaulting to No. 2 in the UTB standings.
Kasel was in the lead from the jump in Little Rock, tying for the Round 1 win with Cort McFadden.
If you blinked on Saturday night, you might’ve missed the biggest thing to happen in Little Rock this weekend: 2018 World Champion Kaique Pacheco became the 10th rider in PBR history to record 400 rides on the premier series.
It may not’ve been a pretty win, but the Missouri Thunder got the job done for the third time against the Kansas City Outlaws in the Monster Energy Team Challenge, presented by Camping World – and this time, it was on head coach Ross Coleman’s birthday.
Meanwhile, on the Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour…
In Lexington, Kentucky, Ethan Winckler and Flavio Zivieri tied for the Round 1 win…
…but 2021 Rookie of the Year Eli Vastbinder went a perfect 3-for-3 to claim the event title.
At the Kubota PBR Bangor, Dawson Gleaves and Pokey Houghton split the Round 1 victory…
…but ultimately, Gleaves went 3-for-3 to earn the event win, even after doctoring out of the championship round.
