#InCaseYouMissedIt: Kasel joins exclusive club with third consecutive win

Miss a moment of the action this weekend? Here’s what happened around the PBR.

By Darci Miller

Lately, it’s been Dalton Kasel’s world, and we’re just living in it. The 2019 Rookie of the Year and 2024 PBR Teams Champion is looking to add some more hardware to his trophy case at the PBR World Finals in May, but for now, he racked up another event buckle in Palm Desert. Miss a moment of the action this weekend? Here’s what happened around the PBR.

On the Unleash The Beast…

This past weekend at the Wrangler PBR Greater Palm Springs, Dalton Kasel put on another flawless performance to win his third consecutive event and move to No. 1 in the standings. He joins Chris Shivers, J.B. Mauney and Jose Vitor Leme – all two-time World Champions – as the only riders in PBR history to win three events in a row.

Cort McFadden provided a few fireworks as well, contributing the walk-off ride that propelled his Oklahoma Wildcatters to their first victory over the Arizona Ridge Riders in the Monster Energy Team Challenge, presented by Camping World.

2022 World Champion Daylon Swearingen took home the Round 1 victory, climbing into the Top 30 of the UTB standings in the process.

It was a big weekend for the veterans! Andrew Alvidrez won Round 2 in Palm Desert and slid into the world No. 5 ranking.

Meanwhile, on the Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour…

Daniel Burke won the opening round of PBR Wheeling

but Ezekiel Mitchell turned up the heat on Saturday night to take home the event win.

At PBR Dayton, Afonso Quintino earned the Round 1 win

but Michael Lane earned his second Velocity Tour event win in a row.

In the Touring Pro Division…

New York Maverick Mauricio Moreira went 2-for-2 to take the win at the PBR Stockyards Showcase in Fort Worth, Texas.
