FORT WORTH, Texas – In the last year, nobody on earth has ridden bulls as well as Brady Fielder has.
On the 2025 Unleash The Beast, he’s ranked No. 1 with a riding percentage of a staggering 72% (31-for-43). It’s an incredible number at any point in the season, especially with only six regular-season events remaining before the 2025 PBR World Finals kicks off in Fort Worth. Only the best of the best in PBR history have managed to maintain a number like that for an entire UTB season – namely, the likes of Guilherme Marchi in 2008 and Silvano Alves in 2011, both of whom won world titles those years.
However, Fielder hasn’t just ridden at this clip during the UTB season. His dominance stretches back to the 2024 PBR Teams season, during which he went 26-for-37 for a 70% riding percentage for the Texas Rattlers and won the inaugural Great 8 award.
Long story short: Fielder has been in another stratosphere for nearly nine months.
This is no fluke. In just two months, we could have our second Australian PBR World Champion in history and the first since Troy Dunn in 1998.
As he pursues the world title, though, Fielder is closing in on some more history.
He currently has a streak of 12 consecutive qualified rides.
If that sounds like a lot, it’s because it is. A ride streak of 10 has only happened 22 times in PBR history. (Note: PBR only has reliable data dating back to 2004 and, therefore, cannot accurately include earlier accomplishments.)
Fielder’s streak of 12 in a row is tied with two-time World Champion J.B. Mauney (10/16/2009-11/5/2009) for the sixth-longest in PBR history.
Alves holds the record for most qualified rides in a row at a mind-boggling 24 from 10/3/2014-1/18/2015, but another milestone stands in Fielder’s reach this weekend at the Wrangler PBR Greater Palm Springs.
Should Fielder go 4-for-4, he would tie Mauney for the second-longest streak of all time at 16 in a row. Mauney achieved the feat from 10/11/2013 through 1/11/14.
Interesting to note is that Alves and Mauney’s longest consecutive ride streaks were split between two seasons, when the World Finals was in October and the new UTB season started in January after a few months off. Should Fielder reach 16 in a row, he’d be the first ever to do it in one unbroken season with no break.
LONGEST RIDE STREAKS IN PBR HISTORY
1. Silvano Alves – 24
2. J.B. Mauney – 16
T3. Jose Vitor Leme – 14
T3. Guilherme Marchi – 14
T5. Valdiron de Oliveira – 13
T5. Guilherme Marchi – 13
T6. Brady Fielder – 12*
T6. J.B. Mauney – 12
While Fielder may not be the winningest rider so far this season – No. 2 Dalton Kasel has more event wins (three to Fielder’s two) and round wins (11 to Fielder’s five) – he’s been making it all but impossible for Kasel (or anyone else) to close the gap at the top of the standings. Kasel has won two events in a row, but Fielder has strung together four consecutive Top-5 finishes.
In total, Fielder has eight Top-5 finishes this season after competing in just 15 events.

One of them was at the PBR Little Rock two weeks ago, where he finished third and extended his ride streak to nine in a row with 89 points on Eyes on Me in the championship round.
“It felt good to get my bulls rode,” Fielder told Matt West after the ride, “and I’m thankful for a great weekend.”
“That,” remarked play-by-play commentator Craig Hummer, “is about as animated as the world is ever going to see Brady Fielder.”
We’ll have to wait and see if a world title win earns some more emotion.
Fielder will take on Slick Rick in Round 1 of the Wrangler PBR Greater Palm Springs in Palm Desert, California. Round 1 airs on RidePass and the PBR’s YouTube channel, X account, and app at 11 p.m. ET on Friday, March 21.
