LEXINGTON, Ky. – As a raucous Friday night crowd watched on, Ethan Winckler (Winnie, Texas) and Flavio Zivieri (Balsamo, Brazil) rode supreme, tying for the Round 1 win at the PBR (Professional Bull Riders) Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour event inside Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky.

As PBR Lexington got underway, Winckler, who rides for the Carolina Cowboys in the separate PBR Teams league, and Zivieri both lit up the scoreboard with unrivaled 87.5-point scores.

Winckler covered Whip (Richardson Land & Cattle Co.), while Zivieri dominated Dang, Dang (Waymore Bucking Bulls). Both contenders earned 23 points in the race for the 2025 PBR Velocity Tour Championship.

Ezekiel Mitchell (Rockdale, Texas) and the New York Mavericks’ Maverick Smith (Cabool, Missouri) tied for third. Their matching 87-point rides garnered them 16.5 Velocity Global points apiece.

For Mitchell, he made the requisite 8 atop Arnold Palmer (Chicken Hill Buckin Bulls), and Smith teamed with Angel’s Envy (CCL Bucking Bulls/Lone Star/Cornwell Bucking Bulls).

Rounding out the Top 5 and tying for fifth were Brody Robinson (Galax, Virginia) and Alex Marcilio (Macaubal, Brazil).

Robinson rode Ruff Nuff (J.C. Knapp Rodeo Co.) for 85.5 points and Marcilio delivered a similar score on Gucci Time (Cross 33 Cattle/Daylon Swearingen).

The duo each took home 14.5 Velocity Global points.

Action for PBR Lexington will conclude with Round 2 and the championship round on Saturday, March 8. Action gets underway at 7 p.m. ET. Tickets are still available and can be purchased online at ticketmaster.com, RuppArena.com and PBR.com.
