TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – When the dirt settled inside the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center for PBR (Professional Bull Riders) Tallahassee, Carlos Andre de Oliveira (Ipameri, Brazil) emerged victorious.

Paired with Richie (Cross 33 Cattle/Daylon Swearingen) in Round 1, the Brazilian catapulted out of the chutes for 85.5 points. 

In Round 2, Oliveira covered Moody Hou (UTC/Sellars/Hurst Ranch & Rodeo LLC) for 82.5 points to seize the event lead heading into the championship round. 

Oliveira then became the only cowboy to ride all three of his animal athlete opponents, making the 8 aboard Money Hustler (Sweet Life Bucking Bulls) for 83 points to cement a walk-off victory.

The event title secured Oliveira 131 Velocity Global points. 

In second place was Joao Lucas Campos (Porto Feliz, Brazil).
 
Campos rode Gucci Time (Cross 33 Cattle/Daylon Swearingen) for 86 points to split an opening round victory before bucking off Harry Tonkin (JQH Bucking Bulls – Skip & Elaine Jones) in 2.5 seconds in Round 2. 

Undeterred, Campos found Redemption (Richardson Land & Cattle Co.) in the championship round, making the 8 for 84.5 points aboard the powerful bovine competitor to catapult to the top of the leaderboard before Oliveira’s walk-off ride.  

The silver finish earned Campos 91 Velocity Global points.
 
The final spot on the podium belonged to Maikon Calixton Rocha (Orindiuva, Brazil).

A rider for the Kansas City Outlaws on the separate PBR Camping World Team Series, Rocha rode Concho Valley (Hurst Ranch & Rodeo LLC) for 84 points in Round 1. 

Despite bucking off Perch Trap (TC, Cooper, Hanks Bucking Bulls) in 5.5 seconds in Round 2, the Brazilian battled back to ride Cutter (UTC/Sellers/Hurst Ranch & Rodeo LLC) for 85 points in the championship round. 

The bronze finish garnered Rocha 77.5 Velocity Global points.

In fourth place was Weslei Ferreira de Jesus (Inocencia, Brazil). 

After hanging onto It’s Cherry (Halpain Bucking Bulls) for 82 points in Round 1, the Brazilian cowboy topped Wayne’s World (TC, Cooper, Hanks Bucking Bulls) for 84 points to win the second round. 

Tasked with Sunrise (Cross 33 Cattle/Daylon Swearingen) in the championship round, Jesus was bucked off after a brief 1.17 seconds. 

Jesus returned home with 59.5 Velocity Global points. 

Lucas Fideles Souza (Barnstable, Massachusetts) finished fifth.  

In the opening round, Souza rode Mile Marker (Lucas Manning Bucking Bulls) for 80.5 points. 

Sitting outside of the Top 10 heading into Round 2, the Commonwealth cowboy covered Jacked Up (3B Cattle Co) for 81.5 points to punch his ticket to the championship round. 

Roaring out of the chutes aboard Thuggish (LH Cattle Co.), Souza lost the rope after 4.23 seconds to end his bid for the event title. 

Velocity Global points contribute to the Velocity Global Standings and determine which new riders are added to the elite Unleash The Beast throughout the season. The Top 3 Velocity Global riders who have not already qualified are also invited to the PBR World Finals in May. 

In the bull pen, Crime Scene (J.C. Knapp Rodeo Co) was marked 44.5 points for his Round 1 buckoff of Lucas Martins Costa (Frutal, Brazil) in 1.69 seconds to win the Bull of the Event title. 

While the Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour bucked in Tallahassee, and Knoxville, Tennessee, the elite Unleash The Beast bucked in Louisville, Kentucky, as No. 2 Dalton Kasel won his second-straight event title.
