BUCKOFF IN THE PIT: This weekend, PBR’s elite 2025 Unleash The Beast returns to Albuquerque, New Mexico. The nineteenth stop of the 24-event 2025 individual season is the 27th time and fourth consecutive season the top tour has visited Duke City. The Pit will host the PBR for three days of action on Friday, March 28, at 7:45 p.m. MDT, Saturday, March 29, at 6:45 p.m. MDT and Sunday, March 30, at 1:45 p.m. MDT.
KASEL COMPLETES NATURAL HAT TRICK, OVERTAKES NO. 1 RANKING: Red-hot No. 1 Dalton Kasel went 4-for-4 to extend his ride streak to 10 and win his third consecutive event in Palm Desert, California, last weekend. The Texan rode Black Harbor for 86.25 points in Round 1, Big Tasty for 86 points in Round 2 and Fatal Attraction for 85 points in Round 3. Knowing he needed to make the 8 a fourth time to secure his fourth event win of the season, Kasel gave the nod and covered Shot in the Dark for 87 points in the championship round. One of the Austin Gamblers’ “aces” on the separate PBR Camping World Team Series, Kasel looks to propel Austin to victory aboard Crazy Party in the penultimate out of the Land.Com Texas Cup matchup between the Texas Rattlers and Austin Gamblers at the end of Round 1 on Friday.
On the other side of the Monster Energy Team Challenge, presented by Camping World, matchup, No. 2 Brady Fielder, the leadoff rider for the Texas Rattlers, had his tour-best 12-out ride streak snapped when he bucked off Slick Rick in 3.12 seconds during the opening round last weekend. The slow start caused the Australian to be a rare omission from the championship round, as Fielder finished the weekend tied for twentieth in the event standings after going 1-for-3. He attempts to bounce back on Hang ‘em High in his matchup against Kasel’s Gamblers in Round 1.
