ALVIDREZ AWESOME IN INDY TO CRACK TOP 10: Andrew Alvidrez went 3-for-3 to win his first event of the season in Indianapolis, Indiana, last weekend, thus catapulting from No. 21 to No. 7 in the Unleash The Beast standings. After helping his Missouri Thunder beat the Kansas City Outlaws in the Monster Energy Team Challenge, presented by Camping World, showcase by riding The Player for 87.5 points in Round 1, the Texan hung onto American You for 80 points to earn his second trip of the season to the championship round. Alvidrez remained perfect in the championship round, topping Nobody for an event, career and season-high-tying 92.5 points to seize the lead. The veteran looks to win back-to-back premier series events for the second time in his career by taking on Tchoupitoulas in Round 1 on Saturday.
Alvidrez currently sits 249.75 points behind No. 1 Brady Fielder, who went 1-for-2 and finished tied for 21st inside Gainbridge Fieldhouse. After riding Time for Magic for 85.5 points in Round 1, the Aussie was bucked off by Ugly This in 3.85 seconds to end his weekend.
