FORT WORTH, Texas – When introductions for the U.S. Border Patrol PBR Pittsburgh Presented by Ariat begin Friday night inside PPG Paints Arena, home of the National Hockey League’s Pittsburgh Penguins, vibes will be high and electricity will be ricocheting throughout the building.
Even with No. 1 John Crimber and a dozen other premier series regulars sidelined due to respective injuries, each of the men suiting up Friday night are more than capable of putting on a show. Exactly what they’ll look to do, whether they’re unranked or as high up the standings as No. 2 Brady Fielder, who’s been on one hell of a hot streak.
But after seeing No. 3 Lucas Divino walk away with two of the tour’s most three most recent showcases, it’s hard not to start this weekend’s conversation with the 31-year-old talent, who’s on fire just the same, and then some.

Racking up nearly $100,000 in the month of January alone, the Brazilian standout has been witnessing a second wind, if you will, as he trails only one man when it comes to the 2025 PBR World Championship race.
And with the 19-year-old, tour-leading phenom set to miss the next few weeks of competition after suffering a wreck last weekend in Houston, the top spot is up for grabs.
Fielder, who played his part in leading his Texas Rattlers over Divino’s Austin Gamblers last weekend during the third Monster Energy Team Challenge, presented by Camping World, showdown, will be gunning for the position just the same.
But it’s been Divino who’s outperformed the Australian lately when it comes to podium placements.
Yet, after seeing Fielder bring home a few additional midweek points from the 2025 Last Cowboy Standing competition, it’s Fielder who’s ahead of Divino by 18 UTB points heading into Pittsburgh.
Said event’s winner, the New York Mavericks’ Leandro Zampollo, is suddenly up to the No. 26 rank and finds himself within this weekend’s draw, preparing to dance with Slingin’ It as he continues to search for his first UTB conversion Friday.
And for all of the new names and fresh faces in Friday’s draw, it’s a pair of veterans in Luciano De Castro and Keyshawn Whitehorse that may be thrust into the spotlight once again.

Neighboring each other in the premier series standings, with Castro in the No. 8 spot and Whitehorse lurking at No. 9, they’re preparing to team up with fellow veteran Eduardo Aparecido and friends for another dose of 6 vs. 6 thrills …
2025 PBR Unleash The Beast Standings:
1. John Crimber (477.5 points)
2. Brady Fielder (418 points)
3. Lucas Divino (400 points)
