GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Carolina Cowboys today announced that their annual PBR Camping World Team Series homestand, PBR Cowboy Days, will return to First Horizon Coliseum next season on September 12-14, 2025.
Tickets for the event go on sale December 3 at 10 a.m. ET, and start at $20, taxes and fees not included. They can be purchased online at TicketMaster.com and PBR.com, at the First Horizon Coliseum Box Office, or by calling PBR customer service at (800) 732-1727.
The Cowboys are the Carolinas’ first-ever professional bull riding team, competing in a league which transforms bull riding from an individual to team-formatted competition. Under the leadership of Head Coach, PBR Co-Founder and PRCA world champion Jerome Davis, the team features a talent-packed roster including 2022 PBR World Champion Daylon Swearingen, 2016 PBR World Champion Cooper Davis, and eight-time PBR World Finals qualifier Derek Kolbaba.
The team is owned by Richard Childress and partner Jeff Broin, with 2018 Daytona 500 Champion Austin Dillon serving as General Manager. Dillon, who drives the iconic No. 3 Chevrolet, and is preparing for his twelfth year of competition in the NASCAR Cup Series. A former champion in the NASCAR Xfinity Series (2013) and NASCAR Truck Series (2011), Dillon is a 21-time winner in NASCAR’s top three touring series.
In 2024, the Carolina Cowboys dominated the 12-event regular season, firmly ranked No. 1 in PBR Teams before being surpassed on the final day. The Cowboys got off to an electric start making history in their season-launch game, going a perfect 5-for-5 to defeat the Florida Freedom with ease. The perfect game was just the third in the league, and the Cowboys’ 448-point total in the aggregate is the highest ever by one team in league history.
The win kick-started a historic 11-game win streak and league milestones that included a late August game in which Carolina became the first squad in PBR Teams history to log multiple perfect games in one season, going a flawless 5-for-5 in overwhelming the New York Mavericks.
The Carolina Cowboys finished the 2024 regular season a team-best No. 2 in the league with 18-9-1 record, earning a Round 1 bye for the 2024 PBR Teams Championship. Their march to the post-season tournament in Las Vegas included their thrilling homestand in Greensboro in September when they beat the eventual regular-season Champion and then No. 2 Kansas City Outlaws.
Once in Sin City, despite falling in Round 2 to the Austin Gamblers, Carolina rallied in the Last Chance Game to easily advance to their first Semifinals. As Championship Sunday began, Carolina knocked off the Florida Freedom by one ride score to punch their ticket to the Championship Game. Despite a 3-for-5 effort, Carolina fell to Austin by 105 points, concluding the Championship event second.
Overall event attendance for the 2024 PBR Teams season increased 15% compared to 2023, and several CBS Game of the Week broadcasts drew more than 2 million average viewers. The on-the-dirt product has never been better, demonstrated in the increase in riding percentages to 40.38% across the 2024 season.
The bull riding action for the 2025 PBR Camping World Team Series’ Cowboy Days at First Horizon Coliseum begins at 7:45 p.m. ET on Friday, September 12, 6:45 p.m. ET on Saturday, September 13, and 1:45 p.m. ET on Sunday, September 14.
Three-day ticket packages are available, offering fans a 20% discount on select price levels.
