LAS VEGAS – A champion will be crowned before the sun sets in Sin City Sunday night.
The exact reason each of the 10 PBR Camping World Team Series squads laid everything they had on the line all season: In order to earn a shot at capturing the shiniest gold buckle in Western sports.
However, with just four teams remaining in contention for postseason play, including the No. 1 Kansas City Outlaws, No. 2 Carolina Cowboys, No. 3 Florida Freedom and No. 5 Austin Gamblers, the reality of ending the third season of summer theatrics with said hardware is a dream only 40% of the pack can continue chasing.
Saturday’s slate featured its fair share of upsets and favorites continuing their quest for greatness. And with a rowdy crowd expected to pack the bowl ahead of Championship Sunday’s final four showdowns, we know fans are ready to see this year’s Champion finish their journey.
With the regular season Champs from Kansas City set to duke it out with the No. 5 Austin Gamblers to kick off the third day of intense postseason competition, supporters will see two-time PBR Teams MVP Jose Vitor Leme go head-to-head with 2024 World Champion Cassio Dias and company as two of the circuit’s flashiest squads prepare to dance amongst the direst circumstances.
Representing the second showcase, a once-immortal unit from Carolina will look to its team of veterans to stay the course after bouncing back via Saturday’s Last Chance Game en route to producing a sincere effort matched against the ever-youthful Florida Freedom. We’ve already seen 2024 PBR Teams MVP John Crimber wave his magic wand a few times this weekend and we know he’s got a few more tricks up his sleeve when the final slate of the season finally arrives.
Once the first two games have concluded, the tour will welcome the two losing squads back to the dirt to hash things out during a Third Place Game, while the winners will meet shortly after during what should be an electric Championship Game, regardless of which units find themselves featured in the most dramatic 10 outs of the summer.

Knowing the second night of action inside T-Mobile Arena concluded around 10 p.m. Saturday night means riders, coaches and fans alike will need to turn things around pretty quickly in order to return to state-of-the-art venue for a noon start.
But we have a feeling each of said parties are beyond ecstatic to see how things play out. So, we have a feeling it’s going to be a Championship Sunday to remember in Las Vegas.
Lineups and draw are in for the final session of postseason drama, so we’re taking a closer look at Sunday afternoon’s matchups, rematches and beyond, with some additional game preview insights, latest team transactions and everything you need to know ahead of this weekend’s finale!

Gamblers vs. Outlaws Game Preview
Anytime you’ve got the likes of Jose Vitor Leme, Dalton Kasel and Kaique Pacheco on your team, you’re going to like your odds of continuing your postseason run. But when the trio of cowboys are all feeling themselves, seemingly hitting their strides at the perfect time, suddenly the No. 5 Austin Gamblers look just as potent as each of the other three squads entering Championship Sunday. Which isn’t a slight to their form up to this point, more an homage to how elite each of the Outlaws, Cowboys and Freedom have looked in their own right this weekend. Leme is preparing to dance with Feeds Red River Sunday, the very bull he bested on Friday for 90.5 points, which bodes well for the team’s odds of seeing their closer come up big once again. However, knowing the 2024 World Champion is set to anchor the regular season Champs from Kansas City means the Gamblers will need some help from Ramon de Lima and Lucas Divino if they want to keep pace in what could very well become a back-and-forth shootout.

Speaking of Dias, he’s primed to perform in similar rematch fashion, albeit against Mike’s Motive, a bovine athlete he’s currently already 3-for-4 aboard (with each of his three conversions coming in at 89 points or more: 89, 90.5, 91.25 points). We’ve already seen the standout Brazilian provide the second-highest-scored ride in PBR history earlier this summer, so there’s literally no telling what the international sensation will drum up for J.W. Hart and friends. Sandro Batista, the team’s qualified ride leader, has an equally great opportunity to shine via his looming showdown with Flapjack, who he’s recorded an 89.5-point go atop in the past.
While the Outlaws may have tied the Gamblers’ 19-9 record-setting regular season record from 2023, they can only hope to one-up the green and black’s performance from year two by completing what would be one hell of a run in 2024. Despite capturing each of the circuit’s first two regular season titles, the Gamblers remain in search of their own franchise-first title, so we know both teams are walking into the building with a shared goal: Winning it all! This showdown is the stuff dreams are made of – However only one of the two squads will continue their chase.

Freedom vs. Cowboys Game Preview
Fans have watched on all season as the Carolina Cowboys started red-hot and never looked back, sitting atop the league standings at the conclusion of the first 11 events of the season. However, after dropping a Week 12 showdown to the Kansas City Outlaws, the checkered flag unit was forced to settle for a No. 2 seed, coming up just short of what would’ve been their first regular season title. As a noted contender since PBR.com’s first preseason power rankings, we assumed the Richard Childress-owned contingent would make some noise – exactly what they’ve done throughout the 2024 campaign and Teams Championship in general so far. They may have needed some magic in the final Last Chance Game of the season, but they got the job done, forging forward into Championship Sunday.
They’ve got one of the most decorated starting five on tour, which means they should be considered favorites over the youthful Florida Freedom to a certain extent. However, the red, white and blue unit has consistently been producing three scores per game for quite some time now, so it remains to be seen whether the elder statesmen will be able to keep up with 2024 PBR Teams MVP John Crimber and company.

Unafraid of a full schedule, as the Freedom and Gamblers remain the final two teams who have already competed in two nights of action, the relocated Freedom squad hasn’t feared change this season. However, they’ll continue rolling with a set of familiar faces when they enter T-Mobile Arena on Championship Sunday for the first time. That includes the likes of Crimber joined by Alex Cerqueira, Joao Lucas Campos, Yan Victor Cunha and Thiago Salgado. Knowing four of the five have already converted at some point this weekend, we expect the Freedom to come out firing in a game they know they’ll need three successful showings in.
