LINCOLN, Neb. – For the second consecutive season, PBR’s (Professional Bull Riders) Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour will buck into Lincoln, Nebraska, returning to Pinnacle Bank Arena on March 29, 2025, with Boot Barn PBR Lincoln.

For one night only, some of the best bull riders in the world will battle the sport’s rankest bovine athletes in the ultimate showdown of man vs. beast in one of the most exciting and unpredictable live sporting events to witness.

PBR’s return to Lincoln comes on the spurs of one of the organization’s most dynamic individual seasons in 2024 as the Velocity Tour held 30 regular-season events across four months, including 12 weekends with two events held simultaneously. Welcoming more than 356,000 fans throughout the season, the Velocity Tour hosted 20 sold out event days, marking its most successful season in attendance since its inception in 2015.

The upcoming Boot Barn PBR Lincoln will be the 27th event of the new individual season for the PBR’s expansion series. Eventgoers will watch on as riders vie for crucial points in the race to be crowned the 2025 PBR Velocity Tour Champion.

When PBR’s Velocity Tour most recently stormed into Lincoln in April 2024, Dalton Krantz (Somers, Iowa) rode supreme, delivering the high-marked ride of the event to win the tour stop inside Pinnacle Bank Arena.

Krantz was sensational in Round 1, riding lights out when he conquered Sweet John (Campbell Cattle Co./Cannon Cattle Co.) for 87 points to surge to an early event lead. While he was upended by Shakira (Campbell Cattle Co./Cannon Cattle Co.) in a hard-fought 4.38 seconds in the championship round, his first 8-second effort was enough to clinch the win, garnering 108 Velocity Global points.

The bull riding action for Boot Barn PBR Lincoln begins at 7 p.m. CT on Saturday, March 29. All competing bull riders will get on one bull each in Round 1. The Top 12 will advance to the championship round later that evening for one more out and a chance at the event title.
