FREEDOM DAYS: PBR Teams: Freedom Days is the third of 12 regular-season events for the third PBR Camping World Team Series season. Competition will begin at 7:45 p.m. EDT on Friday, August 2, and Saturday, August 3 and conclude at 2:45 p.m. EDT on Sunday, August 4.
CBS GAME OF THE WEEK SPOTLIGHT: The Oklahoma Wildcatters (3-2) versus the Florida Freedom (1-3) will be broadcast on Sunday, August 4, at 2 p.m. EDT as CBS Television Network’s Game of the Week. Entering the first ever matchup between the two squads at PBR Teams: Freedom Days, the Freedom have a higher riding percentage (42.86%) than the Wildcatters (39.29%) despite being two games back in the win column. Last weekend in Duluth, Georgia, Florida fell to the Texas Rattlers (2-3), 174.25-87.75, and the Kansas City Outlaws (3-2), 178.25-89.5, with both of their rides coming from teenage phenom John Crimber, who celebrates his 19th birthday later this month. The son of Freedom Head Coach Paulo Crimber and the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 PBR Teams New Rider Draft, Crimber is currently a perfect 4-for-4 on the season and is ranked No. 3 in the MVP standings.

On the other side, the Wildcatters are spearheaded by an early breakout performance from Cort McFadden, who the team acquired from the Austin Gamblers during the 2024 PBR Teams Expansion Draft alongside Austin Richardson in exchange for Kaique Pacheco. McFadden is No. 5 in the MVP Standings, going 4-for-5 through the first two events. The young Texan helped propel the Wildcatters over the Missouri Thunder (2-3), 334.75-176, last Saturday, hanging on to Centerfold for 78.75 points. Unfortunately for McFadden and the Wildcatters, they were shut out on Sunday, falling to the New York Mavericks (1-4), 85.5- 0.
