2024 PBR Challenger Series culminates via Championship Oct. 16-17 at South Point Arena & Equestrian Center

LAS VEGAS, Nev. When the PBR (Professional Bull Riders) Challenger Series Championship returns to the South Point Arena & Equestrian Center on Wednesday, Oct. 16 and Thursday, Oct. 17, Western sports fans will once again witness the ultimate showdown between the toughest athletes in the world and talented animal athletes born to buck.

The PBR Challenger Series, which provides additional competitive opportunities for bull riders who are both affiliated and unaffiliated with a PBR team, will have held more than 60 events from May-October, culminating with this two-night, adrenaline-filled event crowning the 2024 PBR Challenger Series Champion – mere days before the 2024 PBR Camping World Teams Championship descends upon T-Mobile Arena.

In 2023 when the PBR Challenger Series Championship visited Las Vegas, fans were on the edge of their seats as veteran bull rider Eli Vastbinder (Statesville, North Carolina) delivered a picture-perfect performance going 2-for-2 to win the event, highlighted by a massive 90 point-ride on Trump Train (Dakota Rodeo/ Chad Berger).

The Nashville Stampede’s Alan De Souza (Taubate, Brazil) earned the 2023 PBR Challenger Series title overall for his efforts spanning months of hard work across the season.

Throughout the entirety of the 2023 PBR Challenger Series, De Souza won five events and placed in the top two in four separate events. Despite a bout of tough-luck at the Championship event, his impressive 76.33-point lead over the No. 2 man going into the event was enough to secure the title.

Talented riders just like this duo will take to the dirt in Las Vegas on Wednesday, Oct. 16 and Thursday, Oct. 17 at 7 PM PDT. Tickets range in price from $15 to $100 can be purchased at the South Point Arena Box office or online at www.ticketmaster.com. PBR fan club members will also be able to purchase online through PBR.com or by calling (800-732-1727).

VIP packages are also available for the Las Vegas event offering avid bull riding fans a more exclusive visit with upgraded seating, commemorative collectibles, hospitality and concession vouchers, pre-show behind-the-scenes experiences and more.

For more information on the premier seating opportunities, details on the PBR Challenger Series Championship event Oct. 16-17, the 2024 PBR Camping World Teams Championship Oct. 18-20 at T-Mobile Arena, or to see the full 2024 PBR Challenger Series schedule on the road to Las Vegas, visit PBR.com.
