PBR Teams riders in action this weekend via Challenger Series showdowns
With several 5-on-5 regulars suiting up this weekend, including Top 2 rookie picks John Crimber and Clay Guiton, preseason tune-ups are in full swing.
PUEBLO, Colo. – Sure, the third season of PBR Camping World Team Series action is still a few weeks away.
Team Up. Hang On. Take the Ride.
But a brief look at the lineups for this weekend’s set of PBR Challenger Series showdowns quickly reveals that several of the tour’s regular riders are set to get some preseason reps in beginning Friday night.
With rosters now announced for two of the three events, with the PBR Tryon taking place Friday, June 21-22 in Mill Spring, North Carolina, and the Sky Dancer PBR, presented by Sky Dancer Casino & Resort invading Belcourt, North Dakota …
… there are tons of 5-on-5 cowboys set to give it a go this weekend, including:
Alex Cerqueira: Florida Freedom
Andrew Alvidrez: Missouri Thunder
Arthur Antonialle: Carolina Cowboys
Bob Mitchell: Kansas City Outlaws
Bruno Carvalho: Arizona Ridge Riders
Clay Guiton: Oklahoma Wildcatters
Conner Halverson: Florida Freedom
Daylon Swearingen: Carolina Cowboys
Dener Barbosa: Arizona Ridge Riders
Dustin Herman: Oklahoma Wildcatters
Eli Vastbinder: Arizona Ridge Riders
Elizmar Souza Jeremias: Florida Freedom
Ezekiel Mitchell: Austin Gamblers
Jesse Petri: Texas Rattlers
John Crimber: Florida Freedom
Julio Cesar Marques: Kansas City Outlaws
Keyshawn Whitehorse: Arizona Ridge Riders
Kyler Oliver: Oklahoma Wildcatters
Lucas Martins Costa: Nashville Stampede
Marcus Mast: Kansas City Outlaws
Vitor Losnake: New York Mavericks
With Andrew Alvidrez officially drawing into Saturday night's showdown in Binford, North Dakota, each of the 10 PBR Teams units will be represented in some form or fashion, as fans will have a chance to see some of the league's cowboys in action during this weekend’s showcases.
Out of the 19 set to compete as of Friday afternoon, four each hale from the Arizona Ridge Riders and Florida Freedom, while three cowboys from the Kansas City Outlaws round out the most active squads right now.
Each of the riders in action are on their own respective paths to getting prepared for the upcoming 2024 PBR Camping World Team Series campaign.
But none may be more in the spotlight this weekend than the Oklahoma Wildcatters’ Clay Guiton, who is set to ride for the first time in three months since getting wrecked up in the Midwest. If Oklahoma is going to have some year-one success as one of the league’s two new expansion franchises, Guiton will need to be healthy and regularly contributing to the lineup.

Friday night is his first opportunity to stay healthy and get back in the ride column for his J.B. Mauney-coached squad. And we know he won't be taking this chance lightly.
Guiton will be riding one out ahead of good friend and world No. 2 John Crimber Friday, as his fellow 18-year-old standout is set to go head-to-head against Angel’s Envy during his first out since competing inside AT&T Stadium.
Quite the duo of outs to wrap up the action in Mill Spring tonight!
