Nashville Stampede announce 2024 PBR Camping World Team Series game and broadcast schedule

Nashville to take on the Carolina Cowboys, Arizona Ridge Riders and New York Mavericks during the team’s Stampede Days homestand in Nashville, Tennessee on Aug. 16-18.

NASHVILLE (June 25, 2024) – Ahead of the third season for the ground-breaking PBR (Professional Bull Riders) Teams league, the 2022 PBR Teams World Champion Nashville Stampede, the Volunteer State’s first-ever professional bull riding team, today announced their 2024 game and broadcast schedule.

The 2024 PBR Camping World Team Series season, beginning on July 12-14 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, will include homestand events hosted by each of the league’s 10 teams, accompanied by two, three-day neutral site events. Following the PBR Teams league’s expansion to 10 teams for its third season, with the regular-season schedule now featuring 12 events, each team will receive seven byes during the campaign.

The season will conclude in Las Vegas for the PBR Teams Championship, which will debut a new playoff format. The season-ending event will begin with a Ride-in-Round on October 17 at South Point Hotel, Casino & Spa. During the Ride-in-Round, the four lowest-ranked teams in the standings will compete, with the two winning teams advancing to set the eight-team Championship at T-Mobile Arena on October 18-20.

The Nashville Stampede will host their third annual Music City homestand, and fifth event of the regular season, Stampede Days, on Aug. 16-18 in Nashville, Tennessee, at Bridgestone Arena. During their event, they will play the Carolina Cowboys (Aug. 16), Arizona Ridge Riders (Aug. 17) and New York Mavericks (Aug. 18).

During the league’s inaugural season, the Stampede made history by being crowned the first-ever PBR Teams World Champions. Despite finishing the 2022 season last in the regular season, they made a Cinderella run through the Championship, capping their incredible efforts by defeating the Arizona Ridge Riders to clinch the title. In what has proved to be a budding rivalry since, the Stampede and Ridge Riders split the series in 2023, both emerging victorious twice in their four meetings.

In 2024, the Stampede and Ridge Riders will go head-to-head three times, including for both squads’ first game of the season on July 12 in Oklahoma City, and during the second day of competition for Nashville’s homestand.

Throughout the campaign, the Nashville Stampede will also play the reigning PBR Teams Champion Texas Rattlers three times as they look to bring the title to Music City this October and become the first team to win the coveted title twice.

New broadcast rights agreements with CBS and Merit Street Media will bring all of the league’s 280 regular-season games and the Championship event to fans in consistent broadcast windows on Fridays at 9 p.m. ET, Saturdays at 9 p.m. ET, and Sundays at 3 p.m. ET throughout the season with limited exceptions.

Every out from the regular season, plus the playoffs, will be carried by CBS Television Network, showcasing its “Game of the Week” broadcasts, and Merit Street, which will add pre- and post-game coverage and shoulder programming including relaunching PBR Now, a one-hour weekly deep dive into the evolving season.

The Nashville Stampede’s complete 2024 PBR Teams game and broadcast schedule is:

* Note: The CBS Game of the Week will air the following day.

The Stampede is led by two-time PBR World Champion Justin McBride and General Manager Tina Battock, who were named the 2022 Head Coach and Executive of the Year, respectively, following the team’s incredible title campaign.

In 2024, the team will return a veteran lineup of talent, including three-time PBR World Champion Silvano Alves and two-time PBR World Champion Jess Lockwood, as well as multi-time PBR World Finals qualifiers Chase Outlaw, Alan de Souza, and Mason Taylor.

The Stampede roster will also again feature young gun Kaiden Loud who recently capped a stellar rookie individual season on the Unleash The Beast by finishing No. 6 in the standings and winning his first premier series event at the prestigious World Finals – Eliminations.

The Stampede also made notable moves in the offseason, including signing 2012 PRCA champion and six-time PBR World Finals qualifier Cody Teel via free agency.

At the 2024 PBR Teams New Rider Draft held in late May in Nashville, the Stampede also welcomed three new talents, inking Brazilian newcomers Andrei Scoparo and Lucas Martins Costa, in addition to Gavin Knutson.

The remainder of the roster includes Anderson de Oliveira and Luke Parkinson.

The Nashville Stampede will welcome the league to Bridgestone Arena for their third annual Camping World Team Series homestand, PBR Stampede Days, on August 16-18.

The bull riding action in Nashville begins at 7:45 p.m. CDT on Friday, August 16 and Saturday, August 17, and 1:45 p.m. CDT on Sunday, August 18.

Tickets for the event are on sale now and start at $20, taxes and fees not included. They can be purchased online at Ticketmaster.com and PBR.com, at the Bridgestone Arena Box Office, or by calling PBR customer service at 1-800-732-1727.
