The Carolina Cowboys went 11-17 during the 2023 regular season to advance to the PBR Teams Championship No. 6 in the league. The rocky finish sent the Cowboys into the offseason more determined than ever to win the PBR Teams World Championship in 2024. Since league competition concluded, the Cowboys made significant roster changes, acquiring the likes of eight-time PBR World Finals qualifier Derek Kolbaba and surging young gun Tate Pollmeier via trade, while also signing 2021 Velocity Tour Champion Adriano Salgado via free agency.
