NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The 2022 PBR (Professional Bull Riders) Teams Champion Nashville Stampede added three riders to their roster Wednesday night as the team and Music City hosted the 2024 PBR Teams New Rider Draft. Under the leadership of General Manager Tina Battock and Head Coach Justin McBride, the Stampede welcomed Andrei Scoparo (Assis Chateaubriand, Brazil), Lucas Martins Costa (Frutal, Brazil) and Gavin Knutson (Polson, Montana).

“We came into the night with a plan, and a list, and we are walking away with our Top 3 choices, so we are really, really happy,” General Manager Battock said following the Draft.

“He’s a good guy, a strong guy,” three-time PBR World Champion and Stampede rider Silvano Alves (Pilar do Sul, Brazil) added of their first selection Scoparo. “He’s right-handed, but it doesn’t matter which way the bull goes, he will ride him all day long. I am very excited to see him ride the American bulls.”

After first selecting Scoparo with the No. 10 overall pick in Round 1, the team chose Costa with the No. 13 overall pick in Round 2 and Knutson with the No. 23 overall pick in Round 3.
